I returned to this restaurant for a dine in experience. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. The star is the fish and chips. They sure know how to fry things well! Halibut was moist and perfectly cooked. The batter was light and crispy. Fries were crispy and not oily at all. I think the tartar sauce was house made. The sauce tasted a bit tangy and went well with the fish. Coleslaw was alright. It was crunchy and tart. I also tried the seafood chowder. The chowder was thick and loaded with clams and veggies. I do prefer cream based chowders but this tomato one was pretty decent. The ambiance is not the best. It is a bit dated but I am here for the food. Overall, I would recommend anyone to stop by for the fish and chips. I think prices are reasonable. Five stars for the food and service.
