This is the strangest«park» in the city. It’s barely the size of a large living room. Well, maybe a small house. Named for«one of the most remarkable human beings that Canada has ever produced»(actual quote from the press release announcing the creation of this park — ) this park is practically a slap in the face of history. There is almost nothing to see. Some plants, benches and a daïs. That’s it. What do people do here? Well, lots of smokers from next-door Celtic Corner. Or those trying to make a phone call away from same pub. Personally, I sometimes use it as a place to sit and read while waiting for a bus. That’s about it.
