I decided to stay at the Days Inn while I was in the Halifax area. This hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway, which makes it really easy to find. While it is a bit of an older hotel (they were remodeling some of the rooms during my stay), this place offers by far the best service from the staff of any hotel that I have ever been to. The desk clerk went the extra mile for us. As for the hotel itself, the room I stayed in was clean and offered plenty of amenities. For breakfast, it is complimentary, but you order from a menu and are served breakfast, as opposed to the buffet that many hotels offer for breakfast.
