Too Good To Be Threw Thrift Store

I love this thrift store. Nice women’s clothes/​shoes and if you find children’s and baby clothes here they are super cheap!

There are some treasures, however, you really have to invest in the time in actually looking through them to find the treasures. Have patience and have time.

It is a waste of time going there now, things look pretty out of date, some things are dirty, and the staff tend to be either nosy or act afraid of you, so rather serving you they decide to take a break as you are about to buy something, so you have to wait for the next staff person to sort herself out at the cash register before you are served and they take so long to process a transaction, I sometimes think they do that on purpose so you feel angry and react in the way they have stereotyped you, a low income shopper. The manager assumed that I was unemployed and I found she was very rude and condescending and was over explaining everything as if I had an IQ of a 12 year old. Sometimes you can get a good deal there, but the process is often degrading and sometimes the good deal has something wrong with it which you notice after you wear it a couple of times, such as the Velcro in a sleeve is coming undone. The store culture seems to be above the customer. Often they have DVD players without the remote, and you can usually get a better deal at value village especially in winter coats and jackets where some of the woman’s coats are so out of date that you could be mistaken as a homeless person if you wear one. Avoid.
