I wish I could give this place 2.5 stars. I’ve been there twice; my first experience was good, my second not so much. The first time I went in was to get a full-set of acrylics; I asked for the stiletto styled kind and showed them a picture, they ended up just rounding it. It’d been so long since I’d last went that I wasn’t sure if that was it or not(this is really my bad, I should’ve spoke up and said to make it pointy rather than round, but I hate being a burden even as a paying customer, haha). It still looked pretty and they spent a lot of time smoothing it out that no one actually believed that they were acrylics when they’d compliment me on my nails. So yay, for that! Solid 4.5 stars. Also it was $ 30 + tax and tip, for future reference! The second time I went in I was originally going to get it filled, but then changed my mind last minute because it’s so difficult typing with acrylics and I just missed my old nails. He seemed kind of irritated that I’d asked to have them removed instead, so I tried to soften the blow and said that I’d be getting a manicure with it as that would’ve meant more immediate business for them as opposed to the refill(refill = $ 22, removal = $ 15, manicure = $ 15). It didn’t really help as he was still irritated. Here’s the part that really bothered me: he clipped the tips of all the acrylics off *without even looking*. The whole reason why I wanted my nails professionally removed was to salvage as much of my nail as possible as Professionail does a wonderful job of removing nails. He clipped my nails off along with the acrylics in his rush to clip it off. Then, THEN, here’s the kicker: he used his OWN nail to remove the acrylics. Wait, what?! Yes, he literally let me soak my nails in acetone, then shoved his dirty nails(painfully, mind you) under the acrylics and tried to pry them off. I was floored in the worst way. Two of my nails actually bled a little bit(I guess I don’t even need to mention that none of their items are sterilized?) and my skin has actually detached a bit from my nail from under the nail(you know, when you pull the skin on your nails down a bit to look under your nail? yeah, I just see raw flesh.) Okay, so that was awful. As for the manicure? It literally didn’t even last 24 hours. It had chipped by the following morning. What an utter waste. Save your time, money, and nails, and go somewhere else.
