I’m a little surprised by the negative reviews here. I’ve been to NCIX a few times over the past year to get work done on my computers and never had an issue. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable and offered suggestions when I wasn’t sure what products I needed or which ones would be better choices(quality vs. price). Even though I’m not that familiar with the inner workings of a computer, they never made me feel like a dummy. Today I went to buy a laptop battery but was told they don’t sell them. Instead of just turning me away, the employee who was waiting on me told me where I could buy one and even suggested a few options if that store didn’t carry the one I needed. I got home and looked online; sure enough, I was able to find what I needed. I will continue to give this company my business. Thanks, guys.

The computer I bought at NCIX does not work. I bought this computer for $ 1500 as a christmas gift for my daughter. The computer freezes and has had this problem since I bought it six months ago. They have changed the mother board, power supply, video card and most recently screwed around with the bios. They even sent it to Richmond for over a week. ITSTILLFREEZES! Today will be the SIXTH time I have been back.

Came here because I ordered a laptop from their website onilne. I called in to confirm that the laptop would be in on the date and they confirmed. Got to the store and asked them again if they had it, they confirmed, I paid, they walked to the backroom and came back and told me they didn’t have it. I was pretty angry that they lied to my face but I needed a laptop to get my stuff done, so I asked them to sell me a laptop that could perform similar to the one i had researched and ordered previously. They sold me one and its been over a month now and I’ve continuously been troubleshooting this POS they sold me. The worse customer service ever.

Cheap prices but don’t expect any customer service while shopping in store. I recently purchased a hybrid drive day before Black Friday(was checking online). Found what I wanted checked inventory and headed over and purchased. Web page refreshed two days later and price had dropped(surprise sale posted). Store was closed Sunday and Cyber Monday, went back Tuesday to ask for difference in price. Received total resistance and no help from 3 staff members and was told that manager was the only person that could help… He stated that he would not honor as it was Black Friday sale item… I said if you actually look at web page there were 21 hard drives on sale and this was not one of them. Discussion continued to go in circles until I asked him to write a letter clearly stating that he would not honor price drop so that I could submit to my credit card company which actually provides me with 90 day price guarantee. He then provided a refund. This is not the first go around I have had with this store in particular. Moral: cheap prices, make sure you need item, check inventory before you go, buy it with the knowledge that there will not be any customer service during or after you purchase.

I used to shop here but the experience with staff is consistently negative. Apathetic, and unenthusiastic. Just started using instead even though I’m five minutes away.
