Evergreen Cultural Centre

This is a great space! There is lots and lots of free parking.
The theatre is very similar to the Fei and Milton Wong Theatre at SFU Woodward, just on a smaller scale. The seats are really comfortable — there was extra cushioning to hit your lower back on the chairs. Every seat is a good one as they are deeply tiered. The acoustics are great — we saw a jazz quartet and could hear everything very clearly. No muffled sound system.
The concession is a good deal — $ 5 for beer or wine, $ 1.50 for snacks. The volunteers are friendly greeters too.
The theatre is adjacent to an art gallery, next to the coat check. This is a great little gem in Coquitlam — I will definitely come back. It looks like they have a varied season of theatre, music, art and dance.
