Danier Leather

Will NEVER step foot into this store again. The customer service is atrocious here. I had received a gift from a friend, but the store clerk left the magnetic security tag on (awesome, I love it when they do that)…so I had to return it to the store to get it removed. The person who purchased the bag for me called ahead of time and made sure I could get it done without the receipt. So today, I am in the store — waiting about 20 minutes for the person ahead of me to be helped (very short staffed). Anyway, Finally my turn came, I explained that the security tag was left on and I needed it to be removed… some other useless worker from the back came to the front to tell me that I need a receipt to get it removed (gee thanks for letting us know NOW — when we called ahead of time, you said it was ok. Then went on a tangent about how people come in the store after stealing products to get exchanges, as if to assume we stole it? Umm ok, extremely unprofessional and assumptive. Whatever… so we were spending about an hour now to search the system for the person who purchased the bag. When we finally found the person — she removed the security tag. (This bag was purchased MONTHS ago — and was recently marked down like today… and I go, I would like to exchange the bag for another bag which was actually way less expensive than the bag was purchased for. She goes, uhhh you know what, sorry no can do — because your bag has been marked down to $ 89 and the bag you want exchanged is $ 150 (The original price of my bag was $ 260 — which is what my friend bought it for MONTHS ago) … I was so appalled, I took my bag, took my wallet — and none of my money will EVER go to your business. Worst customer service by far. I will also be sure to tell all my friends, family and my patients to steer clear from this store too — word of mouth gets far. Stay away.

Ok if you like animals sacrificed for your comfort. Im by no means an extreme animal activist but im glad man made material is much more suitable for my needs. I camein with a few friends. They like leather. Also saw products labelled rabbit. Felt like angora. No basically not my cup of tea but im not going to stop others. I do eat meat so I cant be a hippocrate & point at others. Friend found a wallet & gloves. It seemed like good quality & reasonable price. He was second in line. One clerk took care of first customer who was buying 2 jackets. One manager said to him it wont take long. Another woman maybe the owner said the same thing 5 mins later. Neither could fire up a till to take his money while the clerk was brushing & petting the first customers order & seemingly wrapping it up for Christmas. What gives. They dont think a small order is as important as a large order. I didnt like that type of customer service. And in all fairness I dont care for leather so I wont be back.

I can’t believe that being a Coquitlam resident for the last 2 years, I never went to this store until today!
It isn’t too big but it sure has lots of variety: purses, bags, wallets, scarfs, belts and jacquets. I sure loved the real leather smell in the store (ahhhhh).
I found the prices ok to be leather, however, they have a big winter sale: ½ price of regular ticket price in all jacquets.
I saw a couple of really nice ones down from $ 300 to $ 99.
Lots of colors, lots of different models and cuts, for every taste, I really enjoyed looking around.
I didn’t see any sales person around so I guess it is a self-​serve store but I don’t mind that because I walked, touched, tried everything I wanted and nobody was bugging me or pushing me to buy anything.
The location is accesible from Lougheed hwy or Schoolhouse in a nice little plaza with a few stores.
