Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport

I had an early flight out of Calgary and decided to stay near the airport to save myself some pain in the morning. This was a great choice — even though there’s not much nearby, the hotel restaurant was good for one night’s meal, and they serve a free continental breakfast in the morning. This hotel feels brand new, clean, and modern (fast wi-​fi!). Overall — super comfortable spot to spend my last night in Canada.

This newly built hotel was our choice for an overnight stay, close to the airport. The service is amazing! From beginning to the end, the employees were welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind, everything that encompasses great customer service. Our room was clean, the bathroom was big and the beds were super comfortable. I didn’t want to leave but check out was at 11. They kindly extended ours to 12. So, after our hot breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, which I was not a fan of, as it looked like it came from the carton. Make your own waffle station, which was delicious. And your choice of baked goods, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. Breakfast ran from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. We then enjoyed the rest of our stay in those amazing beds. I would stay here again. It was very affordable.

The staff at this newly opened hotel are the best. The property is exceptional. I will return and will be recommending to all.
