Horrible experience!!! My family and I booked 3 rooms and our friends were staying at the hotel too. There was 7 adults, an infant and 4 pets. We specifically told them about the pets and so they booked us three rooms on the 4th floor. We then asked for a crib and they said they did not have any but when we spoke on the phone they had one. They then wanted to charge us for a crib when it’s free. After about four hours of being checked in the tell us they need to move all our rooms to the first floor because we have animals this happend to our friends as well. They knew we all had animals so why put us there in the first place. It was super annoying and unconventional. The front staff was nothing but rude to my family they talked over us as we expressed our concerns and made us feel like we were a hassle and problem. The hotel is run down and dirty. Needs maintence badly. Two of our rooms had little to no heat and the pool don’t even get me started. I would never recommend anyone to go here ever! Spend money on a motel over this place. I’m not a picky person I’m lower-middle class but this was not a great experience for us or our friends :(

I’d like to give this hotel 0 stars, but Unilocal doesn’t make that possible. Hotel staff always seem stunned with any issue you bring to them. And there is always line while trying to check in(8 people in line, 1 receptionist as I speak.) The rooms are always gross, they all wreak like stale cigarette smoke and stains little the carpet, walls and shower. I am counting the ants crawls across the floor right now. Avoid this hotel at all costs

I love it here. The rooms are nice for the price. The cleaning staff is wonderful and it has a great location. Airport shuttle available, close to sunridge mall, and many restaurants! You get what you pay for. This isn’t advertised as a luxurious hotel so don’t expect that for $ 100. If you have high expectations maybe consider the Sandman you will be paying close to double however!

The saddest hotel I have ever stayed at in a first world country. Tiny rooms with decades-old, dirty, stained furniture and gross carpet. Musty smells throughout. Apathetic service. Though advertised as an «airport hotel», it is a 20 minute/$ 30 cab ride away from YYC due to permanent closures on Barlow Trail. The wait time for shuttle pickup was 40 min. Shuttles returning to the airport leave every hour on the hour and take 20 – 30 minutes. Price was $ 140 after tax. Barely cheaper than the actual airport hotel, which is 10 times nicer and more convenient, but books up quickly. There are many hotels nearby on Barlow Trail. They all compete within $ 30 or so. Spend the extra money to stay somewhere respectable. Airport Travelodge is not worth it, even just for a place to crash for a few hours between flights. Pros: Free wifi Cons: Everything else

Maybe I’m just not the Travelodge type. I’m generally spoiled rotten, and normally only stay at Sheraton properties when given the choice. I don’t know how this Travelodge compares to others, since I generally do not stay with them. I found that the property was a little run down. The room was clean-ish… I pulled the sheets back for a full inspection before climbing in. I was able to sleep through the night… I just pretended I was camping, and that made it seem tolerable. Unless you really need somewhere to stay on the cheap, or you are accustomed to camping and staying at a low-end motel is a treat, I would maybe try to book something else. I likely won’t be back.

I travel for work and spend approximately 250 days a year at hotels. The first stay at this Travelodge was disappointing. I don’t believe they had ever washed the top sheet, and the linens appeared to be stained as well(perhaps even unwashed.) The top sheet had a very obvious blotch of what appeared to be semen. Unfortunately, all other nearby hotels were full last night, so I was forced to give this Travelodge another chance. This time, there appeared to be feces on the top sheet. Once again, I wasn’t sure if the linens had been washed — it seemed as if housekeeping had simply made the bed after the last guest. My towel had a blotch of dirt on it, and there was a pile of crusty fungus-like stuff all over the carpet. After politely mentioning the condition of the room to the front desk staff, they simply smiled. I left the hotel without hearing a word from them. After I write this review, I’ll be contacting a health inspector. This hotel(in my mind) should be temporarily shut down and cleaned/renovated before someone gets a disease from it. If I could give a rating of zero, I would.

This hotel is definitely for the budget traveler. It’s cheap(around $ 100), a little dingy, but close to the airport in a relatively safe part of town. It has free wifi and parking. The drunks outside stared at me as I entered the building but the flight attendants who were checking in put me a little more at ease about my stay. I would try to priceline something else in the area before I came back here.

My last night here. Rather thankful of that. My musty room never changed. In fact at one time I could smell someone smoking in a near by room. This hotel is older and outdated. Though they attempt to keep in clean and tidy, you can’t cover up old mustiness or wrinkled carpets. A wierd thing with my room, I had a lamp and the TV on, got ready for bed and turned off the wall switch. Off went my TV and lamp! Two lamps and the TV were connected to the plug that turns off at the door entryway! That is just strange and inconvenient! The shuttle service from the airport is great. They pick you up ANY time you arrive. The shuttle service TO the airpor though is not as great. It is only at the hour, no half hour intervals. My flight was 8 am, international, so I had to be there by 6. Therefore I would have liked to leave at 530. My only option though was 5 or 6. So 5 it is so I have enough time to go through security and such. I would recommend you look around a little before going with this hotel. There has got to be a better deal for the price. Oh…and some guests got free breakfast… others didn’t. Apparently it depended on if you paid attention to their websites advertising or not, because they did not offer the detail at the front desk. In the end… good for a one night quick stay… but if your staying longer, get a nicer more accomodating place!
