I have been a content member here for over one year. The facilities are excellent and the location is very central. Fitness /Squash — The areas are separated into women’s only and men’s only. The equipment is state of the art. All cardio has its own tv monitor with the ability to change the channel. The best part is that even during the peak times, the area is not overrun and I have never had the problem of never being able to get onto the equipment that I need. The squash courts are well used during peak times, but you will almost never have trouble walking onto a court on the weekends or other non-peak times. The changing rooms are well furnished and the lockers are large and each locker has the owner’s name on it(helps to remember the names of the people you seen daily). The shower room could use a bit of a renovation, but the space is quite clean and amenities are all available. The towel service is great and the laundry service is perfect for a daily user(they will wash, dry and fold your laundry and have it back in your locker in less than 24 hrs.) The dining options really are nice. The menus are well though out and the prices are very reasonable. There is a yearly minimum, but it isn’t extortionate by any stretch of the imagination. Quite often they have special dinners where wineries/breweries/chefs are featured. I haven’t gone, but they usually sell out and are quite popular with other members. There are reciprocal clubs throughout Canada that you can use when visiting other cities, but I have found that some of them restrict access to their fitness rooms(I’m looking at you, Terminal City Club). One added benefit is that there is free indoor, heated parking available early in the morning and after 430pm weekdays and all day on the weekends. The club is a bit pricey, but the benefit is that you get a well appointed space that is far from being overcrowded. I would recommend membership.
