Starbucks

Nothing but positive vibes here.
To me Starbucks is the same no matter what location you go to, the only difference would be the service. This particular Starbucks is very fast and efficient no matter what time you go you will still leave satisfied. On a quick note to all Gold members (not sure if this applies to Green as well) if you’re located near by, order online (or through your app) and just pick up. It usually takes less than 5 minutes to get your complicated order to be accepted, process, made and be ready for you!
Since Starbucks is literally minutes away they are my number one go to plus I started my membership with them, from Welcome card to Gold in a matter of weeks.

I love this place it’s a really nice hangout area after school. Me and my friends love getting our Starbucks here because it’s so close to our bus stop. I recommend it to everyone in the area!

Great store, patio and everything. The reason for 3 stars is because when I went to get my free refill of iced green tea (benefit of being a starbucks card member), the barista charged me for it. I always go on the starbucks app to check my account after each transaction, so I was confused when I saw that they had charged me. I told the barista of this, and she went to talk to the manager. She came back to tell me I can only get free refills of coffee, but the starbucks website states brewed coffee or tea. I told her this, and then she said that I couldn’t get a refill because my first drink wasn’t coffee or tea which is also wrong because the website clearly states REGARDLESS of first beverage. Because of their ignorance, I had to wait 20 minutes for them to finally refund my money on my refill. Starbucks needs to inform their baristas on the refill policy so everyone can save time. The baristas were still nice though, so I wasn’t too upset.

So, this Starbucks is right by my house, so I drop in for coffee at least a few times a week. It’s so great to have a place that is so convenient with an amazing staff. The location is awesome & never kick you out even you need that late night coffee fix!
Yes, Starbucks is Starbucks & it can’t be beat for the consistency of it’s beverages. Definitely one of the better Starbucks locations in Calgary without the chaos, busyness & lack of service. Most definitely a A+ in my coffee books!

This Starbucks has the same quality products as all other Starbucks locations but the quality of service is lacking.
I usually go through the drive-​thru and always wait an excessive amount of time. I don’t expect it to be like a Tim Hortons because I understand that when making my latte you aren’t just simply pouring a cup of coffee but I do expect it to take less than 5 – 10 minutes.
The last time I was there I decided to go in because the drive-​thru seemed busier than usual and I wanted to look at their food selection. While standing in line I noticed that they only had 3 people working and when I commented to one of the barristas they said this is how many people are usually on shift. So I’ve concluded that this is the reason why the service is always so slow when I go through the drive-​thru. The service wasn’t any better inside and I still waited 8 minutes for my latte and a bagel. The person at the counter also got what kind of cream cheese I wanted wrong 3 times before I ended going home and using the cream cheese there.
Anyway, I can see that the staff works hard and they are very nice considering how fast they have to work but I will be now going to the Starbucks closer to my work because I don’t really have time to wait up to 10 minutes for a coffee.

Get a pumpkin spice latte for your woman and a grande dark for yourself. Only Starbucks can be Starbucks.

What can I say? Starbucks is Starbucks. The look is pretty standard from one place to the next.
The Evergreen location has a little patio which is perfect for hot summer days. A big stainless steel water bowl sits outside for Starbucks’ canine visitors.
The staff is extremely friendly. They’re very good at making recommendations. Mind you, I’m the type that walks in and says things like «I want something chocolate-​y but I don’t know what to get,» or «I don’t know if I want something hot or cold.» They usually recommend something I would never dream of trying but they’ve never steered me wrong yet. I had some kind of iced coffee there last visit with caramel. It was sweet. It was satisfying.
One deduction for slow service. I’ve been to other Starbucks that can churn out those drinks faster. One deduction for price. Yeah, I know, it’s Starbucks and we’re paying for the name.
