The nice thing about this store is that it never seems to be extremely busy. Now granted I never go there on the weekends when its going to be busier.
The prices are high, just like every other grocery store in Canada. The staff are alright. Nothing overly friendly, but not grumpy either.

This Sobey’s is open until 11 pm! Which means they’re still open when I get a sudden craving for Banana Cheerios at 10pm. Friendly staff, decent selection (though I really wish that they carried more types of tofu blocks apart from «extra firm» and dessert ‘fu). The olive bar has introduced me to my new favorite olives (Castelvetranos!) and I have to stock up whenever I’m here. Every now and then, they also surprise me by carrying Toffuti cream cheese, or dairy-​free whipped cream that doesn’t taste like yuck.

Sobey’s is alright. Their prices aren’t as bad as Safeway and their meat counter is above average.
It’s a good-​sized store too, with everything you need. But they charge too much for bottled water. I have no idea why, but they do. So buy your water elsewhere or get it from the tap. Other than that, Sobey’s is alright and reminds me of Nova Scotia.
