Shari will make you feel very comfortable and give you the details of whatever treatment you choose. She is really sweet. I first came to her 2 years ago for a full face laser treatment. And I am pleased with the results…

I love this place. I’ve never even written a review before but I feel like I need to because it is so great. I always always go here for eyebrow threading and have gone for full leg and brazillian waxing. The brazillian is quick and painless (I mean, as painless as they can be). Their customer service is amazing, and if you just want your eyebrows threaded, she will almost always take you as a walk in. Go here!

This is a really good place, if you need to get some waxing done.
Shari is really friendly but still professional, works at a good speed and is thorough at the same time. I got my full legs done, a friend of mine got a brazilian waxing and we were both very happy with her work.
It is okay pricewise (but rather on the expensive side) because she does do a good job.
I can totally recommend this place!

I decided to try out Sharis for a wax and threading as the reviews were so good. I called and they were able to fit me in before my vacation which was awesome!
Customer service was excellent as soon as I walked in to the salon and throughout the treatments. I love threading, but find that there’s not many places in Calgary to get this done. I also got the ‘exotic’ bikini wax and this is where I seriously cringed, I’ve been to many places over the years for Brazilian/​bikini waxes, ranging in quality and styles. I have to say this place was a first, mostly because she used a butter knife to spread the wax… This is a metal knife, in hot wax, then applied to my tender skin, so needless to say it didn’t feel wonderful, and it totally grossed me out. Not sure if this is regular practice or not, but definitely not willing to find out.
Either way, I will be back for the threading.

Shari was great! She got me in last minute and did a quick and clean job. She is very easy to talk to and is very knowledgable. I highly recommend her and although it is more expensive than some places but she always does a great job and is well worth the money. Go see Shari!

I’ve been going to Shari’s for a few years for Laser Hair Removal treatments on my underarms, upper lip and bikini line and the results have been amazing! There’s a lot of places out there offering cheap laser treatments without the payoff. I can attest that Shari’s experience and the equipment she uses got me the results I wanted!

I love Shari. She’s a great lady and does great work for a decent price. I definitely want to start laser there — but $$ is a bit tight.
I have had waxing services as well as threading & it’s all wonderful.

Shari’s is awesome, Shari makes you feel so comfortable no matter what you are getting done and I have to say the process is about as pain free as a waxing gets. She doesn’t push products on you just makes a suggestion and leaves it at that which I appreciate having been to some places who never stop trying to sell from the minute you get in the door. It’s a small place but I actually like that it’s cosy. All in all I won’t be going anywhere else for my waxing needs in the very near future. Thanks Shari for my lovely smooth hair free legs :)

I’ve been going to Sheri’s for a few years now. Whether its Sheri or Sammy that I see, both ladies are great at their jobs. They do amazing threading on my eyebrows, at least as much as I’ll let them do. I’m not one for pain so I usually end up asking them the finish by waxing my eyebrows and they don’t tease me for being a giant wuss. As for the bikini waxes, they are super fast so that’s a huge bonus. I tried frilly lily once and they used a soft wax (I think, there were no cloth strips used). While it hurt a slight bit less, it took 45 mins. Wtf. Talk about awkward. I much prefer to Sheri’s because they can get the job done in 10 minutes. With no plucking (again, wtf). Anyway, whichever lady you get to see when you stop in will always be friendly. They are both wonderful and remember and appreciate their repeat customers.

Getting a bikini wax is never fun, but if you go to the right place it can be bearable. After passing by, and hearing a lot about Shari’s in kensington, I decided to give it a go. My esthetician was named Sammy. I was pretty nervous, since I hadn’t had one done in a few years, but Sammy put me at ease. She told me to relax, put my music on and even keep me chatting to keep my mind of things — such as the embarassing positions you need to get into (sans pants) to get a good wax! After 20 minutes, I was done, and I wasn’t crying, or in immense pain. Not to be too gruesome, but after having some bad and painful waxes, I was pleased to see that there was barely any blood.
Shari’s is a very small, and basic studio. The room itself is a bit crowded, and could use a hook for clothing, but aside from that, it was as good of an experience as it could be.
Prices start at $ 30 up for basic bikini, $ 50 up for what they call an exotica, not quite brazilian, and $ 60 for the full brazilian. Prices are slightly cheaper than other downtown salons, which is nice.
