over 3 hours for a mani-pedi… I went with a girlfriend and we were in a hurry as she had only flown into town for the day and had a flight to catch … I got her to the airport an hour late for her flight to give you an idea… our pedicures were fine, slow but fine, but the manicures were where it really went south… mine they re-did 3 times WITHOUT me asking… and the first time it was fine, but i guess the girl used a gel top-coat, so they started yelling at her in another language, and then brought out the electric buffer thing and removed all evidence of polish and part of my nail-beds, they didn’t smooth them out after that just started to re-polish them in my friends color not mine… I didn’t care at that point I just wanted to go, my friend had been finished 10 minutes before me already and I had to drive her… but they didn’t seem to understand anything we said about it. no apologies were given, no discount … nothing which means no i will not be returning. and to be honest the polish chipped later that day… but to me it wasn’t worth trying to go back and get it fixed.

My friend and I bought a voucher for a 30 min mani + pedi. The first time they didn’t even have our reservation and since they were so busy, we had to leave. The second time had us in BUT they took us in 30 min past our appointment time even though the place was not busy. Their staff are unprofessional, grumpy and rude. Has no idea how to do mani/pedis. My nails on my right hand were 2 mm longer than the left(after the filing/trimming), and the polish was darker on one hand than the other. The whole entire mani/pedi was a sh*t job. After they were done with us they just got up and left and move onto other customers, so we sat there for 15 min wondering if we were supposed to go? We decided 15 min is long enough to be ignored and by this time we were pretty pissed so we didn’t plan to leave a tip. As we walked out the rude lady at the counter finally said, aren’t you paying GST? Um did you ask us to? No. We gave our $ 1.10 in tax and left right away. I advise you to stay away from this unprofessional dump of a salon. I hated my polish job so bad I removed them the next day. What a waste of $ 22 on my voucher.

my friend and I went for a mani/pedi and it was terrible. They quoted 45 minutes and we were there for 2.5 hrs. Mean while other clients getting mani/pedis were in after and out before and on time. What made them more important than me? I hypothesize it’s because they are asian and I am not but I can’t be sure of that. They were unhygienic. There were three people at the mani station and the tech moved back and forth between clients… no changing gloves or anything of that nature for hygiene even when dealing with cuticle trimming. I wouldn’t consider the multitasking great service or pampering either. Quality was bad. multiple nails were misshaped. My «square» was more like a trapezoid because it wasn’t filed at 90 degrees on many nails so there were sharp points. One toe had a major sharp barb left on that could cut skin if I brushed my for over someone’s leg. Filing was also does in a sawing motion(which weakens the nails and causes breaks… which happened within days of being there). my friend feet were literally dropped back into the foot bath during pedicure though mine was ok. mani was done with no base coat, the did white tips for me, no nude color and a single layer of top coat. My friend got two coats of color and no top coat. Mani lasted about 24 hours for both of us(and we’re not hard on manicures… normally I get about a week). Mind you I was kind of happy when the mani needed to come off so I could properly shape my nails. Pedi has held up so far for a week with no issues but it was also done correctly imo(base coat, 2 color coats, top coat) I trimmed the barb off myself and luckily it’s winter and my mishaped toe nails are not really being inspected like a summer pedi. I do a better diy job and don’t put myself at risk on infection or take as long… I see no reason to go back here even if it were free.
