Dr. Ableson is a true professional and someone who is continually updating his knowledge. I went to see him after I had seen another chiropractor who didn’t listen to my concerns or fix my problem. To my surprise Dr. Ableson knew what to do and relieved me of my symptoms in a very short period of time. Great doctor!

I have been to many clinics in my time and I must say I was really impressed with my visit to Kinetic Health today. First off I when I asked if they could get me in today I thought like most other clinics I would be negotiating for a time a week away, nope they got me in within 3 hours. I arrived and filled out a pretty thorough booklet about my health and fitness status. Just like any other clinic I was taken from the lobby to the treatment room to wait for Dr Abelson. While I waited I noticed the many plaques and medals on the walls from iron man competitions he had competed in. Dr Ableson came in the room and introduced himself as Brian, this made me feel more comfortable with him immediately. Most other practitioners make sure you know they are a Dr by calling themselves Dr so and so the whole time they are treating you. He asked me about myself then started a thorough assessment of my mobility. After that he did some active release therapy and Graston. He is one of few Graston practitioners I have been able to find in Calgary and the treatment was effective, my tension decreased almost immediately following the treatment. The service before leaving was unique and unexpected too. They had a folder ready for me to take home including the results of the assessment and Brian reviewed it with me. He also told me I would receive an e-​mail with some videos of exercises specific to my areas of opportunity, this was also unexpected but very welcomed. At the end of it all I was so impressed I booked again for next week and cancelled the massage I already had booked somewhere else.

Was disappointed, had higher expectation. Long wait time, very quick appointment for a new patient and it didn’t help much.

I’ve been going here for chiropractic treatments occassionally for several years and I’m a believer.
At Kinetic Health they fix you QUICKLY and you move on. It’s NOT six months of once-​a-​week adjustments (followed by another six months of paying your VISA bills) or anything like that. You get assessed, Dr. Abelson develops a therapy plan for you, then you and he follow it. Soon you’re back on the street feeling 100%.
There’s another thing I like about Kinetic Health. When I go here in pain I leave with more than a cure; I learn things. Dr. Abelson is an EDUCATOR, and he backs his talk with reading material and YOUTUBE videos I can watch at home. (

I had heard about Kinetic Health through some friends. They had seen Dr. Abelson for Active Release Technique, he wrote the book on it. So I thought this would be a good place to get a massage at. I booked at the beginning of the week with Corrine Lloyd. Their website is not up to date, since it said $ 65 for an hour massage but it was actually $ 70.
When I arrived for my appointment I filled out a pretty comprehensive health form. The receptionist was very nice and asked if I could pay first, because she was going to go for lunch. The office is very nice inside, there is tea and water, a TV to watch. There was a album of foster children that are sponsored by the clinic. Corrine came out and got me. We went over my form, she asked for a few more details, then she had me hop on the table. As a massage therapist myself, I have never been able to find a therapist that has truly helped me but also made me feel relaxed. Corrine did that! Her technique was very thorough. She has a lot of strength, but knows how to regulate it when needed. She has been a therapist for 12 years and it shows! She worked on everything I asked, but didn’t over work anything. She only talked if I talked first. I have never walked out of a massage feeling as good as I did then!
I highly, highly recommend Corrine for your massage therapy needs, you will not be disappointed! I cannot wait to go back!
