Isis Women’s Health Clinic

Gut instinct when we walked into our first appointment at this clinic was to run. We waited 3 hours to get in for our 8:30 am appointment. I understand back-​ups happen however 2 other patients checked in for the same Dr and appointment time as us so they are obviously triple booking with zero concern for the value of your time. After finally getting into the room the nurse came in and rambled off her speech about how things work, notifying us we should never call if we have any concerns ad they are too busy to answer their phones and to contact the alberta nurses line if we have any questions. Thanks. Then came in the OB. She was cold, condescending and border-​line rude. For days after the appointment I cried. After talking to a few other pregnant moms and doulas I discovered I had walked into one of the worst clinics and had the luck of getting the worst OB. I swiftly changed clinics and OBs and am so glad I didn’t spend my entire pregnancy being treated awful by this group.
