The biggest disappointment at this very expensive facility is the reception, not all personnel but it does take only one or two rude and snappy faces at front desk to ruin the whole impression. Dear management, talk to your staff, it is obviously a problem. Overall the classes are fun and instructors are great. A lot of the classes are very popular and there’s hardly any room for the PAYING clientele, please, tell your other instructors to skip joining those classes, one instructor is enough. At the very least tell them to stay at the back, I think that the paying clients have first rights to stay at the front of the class. Thank you.

I had a membership at this gym for a year and just switched recently due to my changing needs in a gym. The front house staff were great and friendly and the gym is empty in the evenings. That being said, my last week there was infuriating. The owners decided to close the gym early(with no notice!) due to low membership attendance. It made me wonder what I was paying for. Membership fees are the most expensive in the city and they just recently raised their prices. I would probably never return to this gym. There are many other gyms that offer more for a lower price.

It’s a very nice facility, but I found some of the front desk folks snappy and others really friendly. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms– always smelled super funky and very poor layout. Plus the ladies bathroom stalls? I am only 135 pounds and I could barely get in there! And parking after 5pm during the week? Forget it. I got boxed in many times.

I started going to Yoga at Heavens after buying a 25 pack of yoga classes for $ 20. My roommate and I now go 3 days a week. The variety of Yoga classes they offer is great, the only problem is that the instructors don’t seem to be static. Our favourite Friday night class has changed instructors 3 times in 3 weeks. If you didn’t get a deal to buy your passes I find it incredibly expensive. Our classes are great, but you do have to get there about 30 minutes before to insure your place as it is very popular. While I cannot say enough about how great the instructors are, I don’t feel the same way about the staff at the front desk. They allow people to call in and put their names on the sign up sheet, and turn people away who actually arrive at the studio ahead of time. They play favourites. Also the layout doesn’t work so well. The area to wait for the next class to start is directly in front of the studio glass doors, so when you are at the end of a class attempting to relax into you Savasana you can hear the noisy talking and chatter from those who are waiting for the next class to start.
