EFW Radiology

Well, I live in Evergreen so it took 20 min to get here. I only came to this clinic cause I got a efw request form and didn’t know I could go to any diagnostic company’s location with the form! I’m still really glad I did come here, worth the commute. Showed up half an hour early, cause google maps overestimated the commute time lol. So I got my exam 10 min early, and it was over by my scheduled appointment time! The ultrasound tech, Kendra, was really friendly. The booking line, I waited 2 min on the phone that’s all. The only problem I had was finding the clinic, this is my first time at southport atrium. I thought the clinic was below the efw sign, but it’s not, go in the main entrance and turn left. The lady from the spa nearby who directed me asked me if I was pregnant, I’m not, thyroid ultrasound lol. But if you are expecting you get a free picture, and if you want more pictures it’s only $ 10 for a few saved in a disc:) While you wait there are magazines, and toys for the kids, and stickers for them too!

I recently visited EFW Radiology in Beddington for the first time. After other clinics proved to be useless in giving me an appointment following my doctor’s referral, I started calling around and EFW was able to get me in the fastest. I was really impressed with the efficiency of the clinic — I did not have to wait for very long in the waiting room, and my procedure was over quickly and they ensured it was as painless as possible. Very friendly staff and doctors.
The parking is a bit of a nightmare as they are in a strip mall, but otherwise I would definitely come back if I could not get into a clinic closer to home.

All EFWs use a single central booking line and the service there can be hit or miss. I’ve had some good ones and some where if they were any thicker you’d have to water them twice a week. Once you get your appointment booked and show up though, these locations are well run. The wait wasn’t too bad and the staff take good care of you. That’s important when you’re already unwell.
