I went to diva salon & spa because my friend asked me to go in to be her model. She recently finished @ Delmar College and did the aesthetician program they have so she applied @ this salon. So, I went in and they attended me and were very nice ! The lady offered me either a glass of water, tea or coffee so I took a glass of water. My friend then came and we were in a quiet room, she waxed me completely ! She did an amazing job ! I felt so good after she finished. She did both legs upper and lower, both arms, upper and low arm, upper lip and my eyebrows. I love how she took her time and was careful on my skin because I do have very sensitive skin. I would love to go back to the salon one day! It felt so relaxing.

I’ve seen Rema for years and never once disappointed.
Today I had the pleasure of getting my hair done with Jersey. She did such an amazing job. Good listener and great personality.

I can’t say enough about how much I love going to see Tiffany for any waxing, pedicure, facial, etc needs. She is so kind, professional and incredibly skilled. I have been seeing her now for years and hope I don’t regret posting this as I’d be so upset if she got any busier!

It was wonderful! I am very particular about how I like my hair cut, and they more than did the job, interviewing me about my preferences and what other hair dressers have done before hand, and made my comfort the priority. Nobody likes an awkward haircut!
Not to mention the hot towel facial included
They also offer free touch ups etc if you book within 7 days, very reassuring in the event that they did screw up. (Very unlikely but possible)…
I also agree with Dallin L… Bein. A male, I was very sceptical and honestly quite uncomfortable with going to this place… But wow did they change my mind!

Had my hair cut and coloured by a lovely young man named Hoss (Hussein). He took a lot of time to make sure that he got the shade just right. But when he pulled out the scissors you could tell he was really in his element. I have thick, curly, long hair and he made it sing with delicate layers and shaping. Check out this talented cutter while you have the chance!

I’m a guy, and I was skeptical about going to a «spa and salon» type place. My normal haircut choices have been determined by whichever barber shop was cheapest. Never again. It’s more than a haircut. It’s an entire head pampering experience! They shampoo you, massage your head, cut your hair, wash it again (I think, to be honest I fell asleep), and put a steamy hot towel on your face.
I had Jersey cut my hair, and she was awesome. I had very vague instructions about what I wanted (I said something like ‘I want something cool, but office appropriate, and not boring, but not crazy looking) and she NAILED it. Best haircut I ever had, and it’s not even close.
This is to haircuts what a mani/​pedi is to clipping your nails.
Ladies, tell your man not to be afraid of letting a true pro take control of their dome.

I’ve been coming here for a year and have to say that the people who work there keep me coming back. In specific, my stylist Mike is one of the best I’ve had. Not only does he cut my hair with skill and precision, but he also makes an effort to get to know me personally. From a male perspective, I definitely recommend him to all you guys looking for a stylist to exceed your expectations.

I live in Los Angeles … but whenever I come to Calgary I always go to a hairstylist named FRED TALEB who works at this gorgeous hair salon !!! I love his hair cuts … he always gives me something new and fresh. Something I can show off in LA !!! He’s so talented and NEVER RUSHES THRU A HAIR CUT which I truly appreciate. I always feel like I get the FULL AVEDA EXPERIENCE … I highly recommend him and this salon. The service from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out is inviting, calming and top notch. I work in the cosmetic industry so my customer service standards are pretty high … but I’ve never been disappointed with this salon. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I LOVE THIS SALON !!! Thank you Fred !!! YOU’RE AMAZING !!!

I have been going to this salon on and off for several years. I have been happy with my cuts for the most part, but the they don’t seem to keep their stylists for very long. There have been a few stylists that I have become comfortable with, and then they’re gone. It makes me wonder if it is not a good place to work.
Most times I’ve gone, I’ve had a very nice scalp massage at the beginning of the appointment. I appreciate that they aren’t very pushy with their products.

I recieved a gift certificate for Christmas and decided to use it for a facial. When I arrived I was a bit wary as it wasnt as esthetically appealing as other spas i’ve been to, but I wanted to keep an open mind. I met with Tiffany, who would be doing my facial, and again was wary as she seemed quite young. However, she was very friendly and knowledgable so that eased my mind. The facial room was pretty plain, not at all «spa like», but I closed my mind and tried to relax. The facial itself was WONDERFUL, Tiffany did an amazing job and made sure I was relaxed the entire time. I also really liked that they didnt try to push their products on you, as some spas tend to do. Although I probably wouldnt return for other services here, Tiffany did such a wonderful job that I would consider returning to her for a facial in the future.

I get my hair done by Jersey, and she is fabulous. Worth every penny. All I have to do is tell her what I’m thinking and she transforms my hair. She is really great at creative and shortcuts. Book with Jersey if you get a chance.

I wish I could give a negative star. I tried one of those group deals and got a very junior stylist, Hoss. He bragged about how he’s the owner’s son. If the owner had any business sense, he would not let his son work there, nor try to attract new customers using his son as the only available option for the coupons. I asked Hoss to thin out my har — he took his scissors and just picked off hair without any strategy or direction. I now have two distinct layers in my hair, which looks like a mullet. BEWARE!
