Canadian Tire

So disappointed everytime I go in and need assistance there is never an associate anywhere. Then when one finally shows up they are never able to help me. Today I spent 35 minutes in the store trying to get some light bulbs, they were locked in a cabinet. Got so fed up, left, went to Home depot and it took me 1 min to get the bulbs and leave.

Made an appointment with the service station since one of my back tires needed to be looked at.
Checked in when I arrived and provided them the keys. I was advised that they would look at my back tire that was giving me problems as well as do a diagnostic on the rest — just in case. Advised they would call me with what they find and let me know what the repair costs would be if anything.
25 minutes later, called to let me know I had a small leak in the tire and they would patch it up. No need to replace the tire. Also advised me that all my other tires were great after running a diagnostic. I can come back in an hour to the service station to pick up my vehicle. Quick and easy.
When I returned, the counter person had my file and explained everything to me on my repaired tire as well as the amount of air on my other tires had. All were great. Ready to go. He even let me know if there was any problem with the patch in the next few days, since it was a small one done, just to bring the vehicle back and they would fix it up at no charge. He didn’t for see this happening since it was such a small patch done, but just in case it does, bring the car back. Paid, which was very minimal and so glad since I thought it would be an arm and leg for this repaired tire.
Great service from the staff and my tire is as good as new. Thank you.

Please stay away we are new to Calgary and were foolish enough to leave our vehicle in to the service here to have and AC and an small oil leak fixed on taking the vehicle home we had a flood of oil leaking and now AC fluid leaking and it turns out a small job is now going to cost us a fortune because of these guys. Massive headache and really bad to deal with got different version of what happened with the car of everyone i spoke to including the Owner of the store Chris Putowska who obviously didn’t even bother getting the correct version of events from his staff. All in all a very bad experience be warned.

Never ever bring your car here. The customer service staff has a combined IQ of 80. The end.

Why the hell do I bother coming in here when I am looking for something advertised in their flyer only to find out they are sold out? Happens all the time and it pisses me off. You can never find any help here either. I’m sure the sales associates are hiding in the back. Unless you have some weird desire to really really shop here, I wouldn’t bother. There are so many other places that you can find what you’re looking for and have a better experience. No wonder Canadian Tire is referred to as Crappy Tire.

I’m from Mill Woods and the Canadian Tire there has helpful people and I always felt good purchasing from a Canadian owned company. When I went to this Canadian Tire I had to ask 3 different people directions to what I was looking for an not one of them helped me. One told me it wasn’t their department another told me it wasn’t their job and the third just said «I don’t know» and continued on what they were doing. I’ve never been treated like this in a Canadian tire before and I won’t return to this particular outlet. I know from experience that most are better than this, so I will blame the managers of THAT store and continue to shop at other locations.

Wouldn’t ever take my vehicle here for repair in a million years. Once was enough. Broken rear spring & 4 days later? Should only have been a day. Dropped vehicle off Thursday afternoon, wasn’t done until Sunday evening. They even tried to charge me for 4 new tires. After arguing with the cashier, the manager came over, I explained that not only did I NOT NEED new tires, I never agreed to or asked for new ones. Only until I insisted he go outside and LOOK at the vehicle, he finally discovered that there were no new tires on it. No apology no nothing. Would stay away from here for sure. Only giving one star because I can’t give zero.
