Best decision i ever made was to come to this school. The self directed model works and overall i learned so much about life here. The best teachers work here and they get to know you on a personal level. Will never forget my time here. So happy to be a graduate of this great school

Really, no alumni rushing to review this place? To be fair, I am not an alumni as I was only there until Grade 11, at which point I decided to not risk having to return for a fourth year of self-​study, which had been going unsteadily at best. Some months I would slay credits like a Viking, others I would spend in a daze of hanging out in the Science area, taking endless trips to Yellow Sub to play Pac-​Man, and throwing apples at Chris B’s car. Okay, that only happened once.
I do not have contact with any of my former classmates from here, so I find that my experiences and memories of this place are very insular, and will probably recede into the shadows my mind as years pass: with no communal chatter, I will likely be unsure if something I can «remember» from grade 10 happened to me, or if I saw it in a movie somewhere. It’s kind of a sad prospect, but then it’s only high school. Big whoop!
If any Carroll students read this, I encourage them to try this social experiment: check in at 8:30, drive up to West Edmonton Mall, ride the Galaxyland roller coaster, then drive back in time for check out at the end of the day. I guarantee it will prove to be one of the most educational days of your lives!
