TOTO is a store hidden away in the curve of the mall near Winners at Metropolis at Metrotown. I don’t usually venture this way but my sister told me about a cute shop that sold lots of great gifts and kawaii items.
I enjoyed the white walls and floors, bright lights, and carefully organized display of all the items. This shop reminded me of a whole bunch of asian shops rolled into one. From unique scarves and hats to cute keychains to adorable hair clips to trendy blazers to tights of all patterns to bags to sunglasses to socks to sparkles to glitter to anything cute and whatever you can find at any asian mall shop generally.
A lot of the items are priced high but then almost all of them have a 50% off sticker attached to it. Makes you think you’re getting a deal… worked on me! I bought a cute white puffball keychain accessory for 50% off for $ 7 (originally $ 13).
The woman working at the counter was initially pre-​occupied with her cell phone and didn’t care too much my sister and I were in there. However, when we asked for help she was there to assist and then carried back to her phone. I didn’t mind because it relieved us of the stress with someone always looming around.
In the end, a lovely new store that I’ll enjoy oohing and ahhing and «that’s so cute“ing at all day. Off TO TOTO TOday!
