Happy with both my tattoos but their minimum is pretty steep — $ 180 no matter how small and simple your design is. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is they are a cash-only business. I never carry cash so it’s an inconvenience to have to drive to a bank machine after-the-fact and get the money. They should tell/remind people when they make their appointment that it’s cash only.

I was here to get a daisy chain at the suggestion of my then boyfriend Paul M. We looked through some books and I feel for a flower looks like a big Lilly but has a Hawaiian name. I had it set on my right hip with tribal leaves under it and it is more than the area of the hip in height and length. Sometimes you can even see the tribal leaves at the bottom of a shirt or two that I own. Anyways 3 hours of the searing pain and I am in love with Art on me now. Paul and John were the best company I could ask for and I would do it again but maybe a back piece this time. More than 20 years and it still looks amazing and I havent had it colored in still. I was 20 something when I did this and no one does Art like John, so patient and kind, I would send anyone who truly values the Art there its a life changing experience.

Just got a tattoo from here. First time going yet not my first tattoo and by far the best experience I’ve had. Front staff is extremely helpful and super friendly. Same with the artists in the back. Had 4 artists working at the same time and all did absolutely fantastic work. Started tattooing before lunch so we were offered to get lunch along with all the staff members. They ordered for all clients and staff which was such a lifesaver when you’re there for such a long period of time(4+ hours). Highly recommend for anyone to go here if wanting anything done. Will be going back here for all future tattoos 110%!

Full disclosure: I never went here to get a tattoo for myself, just to(unwillingly) keep my cousin company as he got his(I’m from Calgary and not from the area, and he was my ride for the day so I didn’t really have a choice). As such, I spent most of my time in the waiting room in the front lobby killing time. What I can tell you: The place is clean and orderly. The front staff were very friendly, and after observing them for an hour or so(as there wasn’t much to do while waiting), they were very professional and helpful, to clients at the venue and over the phone. The waiting room consists of some padded chairs and a coffee table with binders with the various tattoos you can get. There’s a water cooler and a washroom as well. I couldn’t tell if they had free wifi, but there was one of those ‘linksys’ unsecured access points with full bars that worked from the lobby, which was handy for me since I was able to write a few Unilocal reviews on my laptop while I was sitting around waiting(but with all unsecured wifi spots, especially those that you don’t know who owns them, I would never to any kind of financial transactions or anything that requires inputting a password of any sort). I don’t think I’d ever get a tattoo for myself(simply doesn’t interest me), but if I were in BC and had to get one, I’d probably go here. 13⁄30
