Went to The One but that place was so packed we booked it ASAP. Came into Tea Wok instead since the place was practically empty. We ordered the beef noodle soup + fried rice with chicken nuggets and an aloe honey tea to top it off. The beef noodle soup was pretty good! I’m all about chunky carrot slices and cilantro. The fried rice was just your normal Chinese fried rice, but the chicken nuggets were pretty good. Although after a few small pieces I was done(a girl can only handle so much of salty + greasy you feel). The aloe honey tea was so freaking sweet… Service was normal. Food came out fast. Place was quiet because it was empty. Next time I’ll probably just go to Cattle or something.

It’s an okay place. Really not the best in the area since you can drive like 5 mins to The One which has better food, and drinks. And service at The One, is a lot better as well. This place is just empty, and the servers aren’t as attentive as they need to be. I feel kinda sorry that this place has changed 2 – 3 times with owners and names. But inside has not changed at all, maybe a bit of a repaint and stuff, but it still looks the same as it ages. I ordered a bubble tea, but guess what, they didn’t have the additives I wanted from the place. It seems like this is the only place that has Katen Jelly. Which is the stuff that you have in the mini lychee jello cup things. I was looking forward to that since i saw it on the menu. I was like, YAS something different from a bubble tea place. And of course, they said they didn’t have any left, and their excuse was because there was no one at the establishment to make a batch for the day… Well, if that was your excuse then people won’t come anyways… Then I replaced the order with Coconut jelly, and they said they didn’t have any of that either… I was livid at this point, and I asked if they have REGULARBUBBLES to just have a bubble tea, they said yes. I just had that instead… But seriously, if you don’t have the ingredients on the list, and your excuse was because there was no one in the place, then sorry, no wonder your place is empty in the beginning. For sure they have a good list of tea flavours on their menu, and they have a good size of flavours for beer as well, they serve Taiwanese beer here, which is very cool. But, their bubble tea was VERY watered down, and it didn’t taste like tea at all… :(I was sad at this point. Had my bubble tea while my friend had the food, and I still left them a good tip and left with a bad taste in my mouth. I seriously wasn’t pleased. I mean to top it all off, the parking in the area is not good either. Park on the streets, because you can’t park in the parking lot on the left because it is for the mall on the left. This is not considered to be part of the mall. And the right side is all made for Phở Hoa, so parking is always gonna be taken. Would not recommend to friend, and will not come back.

While I’m sad 508 is gone, can’t complain when a new Taiwanese late night place opens up in its place. The food is tasty, pretty standard from the regular Taiwanese bubble tea place. Their chicken nuggets are of course the most popular. What I LOVE is they have squid tentacles that are grilled and not deep fried! Good selection of food, soups, appies, desserts and drinks. They serve beer and alcohol too. The prices are good, everything is well under $ 15 and most of the meal sets are under $ 10 and come with rice and side dishes. Lots of space, layout is the same as 508 so good for groups and they are open late with lots of free parking nearby. The service is surprisingly quite good, they take debit and have free WiFi which are all added bonuses!

My daughter and I have been looking really forward to visiting this location, The reviews looked good and the food looked even better. So, Imagine our disappointment when we asked for takeout and their debit machine didn’t work. Now, You would think that would be the end of it but nope they made a half assed effort to rectify it and we had to cancel our order, Bottom line? bring cash because they aren’t going to give you any other option.

My GF and I decided to stop by for a late dinner, sat down just before 11pm(they close at 12). Server took orders from 2 couples that came in 5ish minutes after us, while our menus were waiting at the table edge and we tried to waive the server down a few times. (both couples were Asian. My GF is Taiwanese, I’m Caucasian) Then the server tried to tell us 10mins AFTER taking our order«the kitchen already did last call» and they can’t serve us. Wtf Seriously??? We had been sitting for over 30 minutes at this point. I didn’t think it was the 1950s anymore, but apparently at Tea wok it is! …don’t get me wrong I have nothing against ANYONE! Except for those that discriminate! We had been friendly and polite with the server up to the point where service was flat out refused! They finally agreed we were worthy of an order after speaking directly with the owner. This business is just down the street from«The One» and clearly doesn’t understand how to run a start up in a competitive marketplace. Honestly don’t waste your time or money here.(Unless you support this way of doing business) Just go down the block to «The one» where they’re always steady… this place was empty for good reason! No I don’t work for the one. Besides their customer base is large enough they don’t need to waste time writing poor reviews in hopes of boosting sales! Food was ok, but totally ruined by the experience! Unless you want horrible management with a slice of discrimination and ridiculous wait times, only to be told«sorry we can’t serve you due to OUR error» then take my advice and TRYANYWHEREELSE! At least the décor was nice!

Came here because they seemed to have just opened. All the servers are so kind and polite! I would recommend their chicken nuggets. It’s not prepped like the usual Taiwanese chicken nuggets. It was quite empty for such a big space but probably because they are newly opened. I hope that once they get more popular, the servers stay as sweet and polite as they are right now! Would choose this over the nearby Estea any day! Cash or debit only!

Totally not prepared to open business. First of all, something went wrong with their stove that made all stir-fried items unavailable. Which was fine, things happen. So I ordered a noodle soup and waited 1.5 hours. No explanation was given during that time; all I got from the waiters were«it is coming». AND the noodle was still not ready by the time I was about to leave.
