I am a hairstylist and have been working in hair salons/managing them for upwards of 10 years now. This place is incredibly mismanaged and I refuse to give them any more of my money. I had an issue with the salon and instead of apologizing, the manager called and yelled at me on the phone. I used to come here because my eyebrow lady, Manjeet, moved here and she’s great for threading. I had an appointment booked for Wednesday morning at 10am. My sister came in the previous Saturday and was told that Manjeet had gone to India with no notice, and that someone else would be doing her service. She was unhappy about this, and dealt with it herself. My sister told me about this, so I was waiting for a call to let me know Manjeet wouldn’t be there for my appointment on Wednesday. Tuesday morning, I get a text confirming my Wednesday appointment with Manjeet. Tuesday afternoon, I call and leave a voicemail asking why no one has called me to let me know that Manjeet won’t be there. Wednesday morning I get a call at 9:45(15 minutes before my appointment) letting me know that Manjeet has gone to India and someone else will be taking my appointment. I told her I know this, ask why no one has called me previously to 15 minutes before my appointment. The girl on the phone apologizes and tells me she doesn’t know why no one called me. Fine. 5 minutes later I get a phone call from who I can only assume is the manager. She tells me that Manjeet is in India and there was nothing they can do. I told her that I am aware of that, and they should have called me before my appointment so that I could make the choice of whether or not I wanted to drive 30 minutes to my appointment to see someone else. The manager proceeds to yell at me on the phone, telling me that there was nothing they could do, lies to me and tells me they didn’t know Manjeet wouldn’t be there today(I called her out and said my sister was told on Saturday she was in India so they did know). I try and explain to her that I manage a hair salon and this is not a way to treat clients, they should have called all of her clients on Saturday who had appointments booked so they could make the choice of whether they wanted to go in or not. She doesn’t listen, keeps telling me it didn’t matter because obviously I wasn’t going to get a service done there anyway. I keep telling her she would have wasted my time and money had I not known ahead of time. The phonecall ends by telling her that I will not be going back to their salon.

I drive by often and ended up coming in for a brazilian appointment thanks to the sign outside advertising them for $ 25.The lady who does the waxing is very nice and does a good job. Her technique is a little different compared to other people I’ve gone to but it works. Instead of using tweezers to get the stubborn hairs she will thread them instead. They use a new stick each time to dip into the wax. The place doesn’t seem too busy so I’ve always been able to go in for appointment on short notice. There are other places I would prefer, however Ive gone back multiple times thanks to its amazing price, decent job, and convenient location to home.

I wanted to like this place but I came out feeling far from it. My mother and I got our nails done and the esthetician was arrogant and rude. Not only did my gel nails come apart after 5 days but she painted over our cuticles and took over 1 hour to do so. I’ve had much better results going to a regular nail salon. Once the esthetician saw our way spa certificates, she mentioned that price might be more because we’re coming in with a coupon. She gave us a final price for two treatments, we paid and left without questioning as we didn’t feel comfortable there.

I had two manicurists since I bought two coupons for a Shellac mani and pedi. The first time I got it it was good but the colour I chose was too sheer but it lasted long enough. It seemed like there wasn’t enough polish in the bottle so the application seemed streaky. The second time I went I got Sheryl and she did a good job at applying the color to my nails. She was very very nice about removing my previous shellac since it wasn’t clear on the phone if they would charge extra for removal. She was so patient when she had to change the color of the nails since the first color I chose was defective. However, I did tell her that I prefer square shaped nails but I got rounded ones. I feel that she overbuffed my nail plate which generally weakens the nail but it’ll be ok since I have Shellac on. Shellac is awesome! The pedicure is just application of nail polish. I can do it at home too. It’s a very nice place but you have to be very vocal in what you want.

Oh dear… It’s clear this place thrives on customers with internet coupons… and they aren’t trying very hard because of it. I went to see Daisy for a brazilian laser. Now, I’ve had treatments elsewhere, so I know what to expect. First, Daisy did not turn the machine up high enough, so it was a futile appointment. Second, she was not thorough… brazilian means EVERYTHING is gone. Why the hell would I want random patches of hair? When I mentioned it she said that was«tricky» and didn’t do anything about it. I don’t know if this is a ploy to get me to buy more treatments, but that’s ridiculous! Who has ever heard of a brazilian with random lines of lingering hair? Find a place that cares about their customers. This is not worth your time at all.

Also had an online deal for bikini laser for 4 sessions. After the second session I decided not to ever go back. Money wasted, but I’d rather save myself from the pain and the burn marks. I’ve started doing laser elsewhere since it’s not even half as painful.

I purchased a voucher and was treated like a third class customer. she was rude and unprofessional. I also did not get the full treatment that I purchased. I would never recommend this place. she didn’t use coolant and it was very hot.

i bought a groupon online for $ 39 mani & pedi. When I got there, no one greeted me until the hairstylist saw me, said hello and told me to have a seat. My esthetician Lynn was nice, but she told me 5 min into my mani that she started there 2 weeks ago. I’m a nail tech, and rule of thumb, you never tell the clients that you only been there for 2 weeks. Exaggerate a little if you have to make yourself sound more experienced. The whole time I felt like she wasn’t very sure of herself. When she got to do my pedi, there’s not a couch or pedi throne to sit in, I sat in one of those portable — easy to assemble chairs that people use for mobile spas, in between 2 hood hair dryers with a daughter and mother on each side of me, it was very awkward. Also, it really bugged me when she didn’t even get the steps of the mani/pedi right: no cuticle remover was used, she started pushing my cuticles back on my toes BEFORE she removed the polish(BIG no no, you ALWAYS removed polish first), doesn’t massage my lower legs or forearms. Also, it really really bugged me when she unflipped the nail clipper and used the back end to scoop out lotion from the tub for my foot, very unsanitary! When I got home, I noticed there were some spots on my toes that she didn’t get painted right. I think I could probably have done a better job myself at home. Save your money and don’t go there, you could probably get better quality at those asian nail salons in the malls.

I came in to see Daisy for laser hair removal with one of those daily internet deals. The place looks clean and organized, and Daisy seemed thorough and knowledgeable about the actual treatments. However, I found her a little unprofessional. She freaked out on me for being 5 minutes late. Made me feel like I should be grateful that she didn’t cancel the whole appointment altogether. And like Lee I., she started eating right in front of me during the appointment too! I don’t know how the rest of the salon and spa is, but I wasn’t too impressed with Daisy.

This review is for the woman that does the waxing. She may offer other services, but i’m not familiar with them. Jenna does an AMAZING job with the waxing. No need to go over and over the same spot. She’s really personable and friendly
