Metro Flowers

I was in Metrotown for some holiday shopping with a bunch of friends and noticed that some new stores opened (it’s been a while since I’ve been in Metrotown, therefore, not surprised that this and some other new stores opened). Maybe this is new to me since I don’t come out to this area? It’s tucked away in the corner close to the Disney Store. I came here to get a Poinsettia as a center piece for a holiday party in the middle of the week. It was a little over priced, however, it was one of the few flower places that still had some in stock to begin with as most have already been sold out. Beggars can’t be choosers when you’re already late buying. The general flowers were also overpriced which is why I wouldn’t return for regular purchases. Store is well organized enough. So why the two stars? The price gauge is what urked me more than anything. They do get a star for having something in stock but that was probably ’cause of the high prices that no one wanted to pay and had time to go elsewhere.

every year, I go to Metro Flower to buy flowers for my Mother on her birthday and mother’s day. They are NEVER the best place to go, but I still go there coz its close to where I live.
This year as usual, we ordered flowers for our mother on Mothers Day (which is TODAY)!
When we first picked up the flower it looked fine
coming out from their fridge room. In LESS THAN AN HOUR we got home and handed it to our mother… with a SURPRISE OF ALREADY DYING FLOWER!!! Yes, DYING FLOWER! Who on earth would like to give their beloved mother a bundle of DYING FLOWER?! You must be kidding me? For the amount that I am
Paying for? $ 70 for some dead flowers? The Lily were already «SLEEPING»!!! Coz they DID NOT PUT ANY WATER IN IT.
And the flower end up to be more expensive comparing to last year!!!
I WILL NEVER GO BAK AGAIN! NEVER! GIVING MY MOTHER DYING FLOWER IS RIDICULOUSLY NOT EFFING ACCEPTABLE! I would rather drive down all the way to Richmond to get cheaper and nicer flowers! For anyone thinking to go, I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO! Its RIDICULOUS! but after all, the choice is yours.

Place sucked
Way overpriced for what you get
Almost triple price of other places and the service is really bad
When u buy flowers they just quickly wrap it and don’t add any garnish in and don’t put any care into preparing them
I only went to this place cause other places are closed around Burnaby, I won’t make that mistake again
Stay away from this place unless you want to pay over 6 bucks a Lilly
I can count at least 5 other places better in Burnaby
