I normally would not be giving 5 stars at all. This is the first of few that I would be giving to I want you to imagine food from the mall. Boring, conventional, sleepy food. But this is no ordinary food vendor. They stepped up their game. They did not step up their game just to make money, but they stepped it up to make customers want to come back to enjoy their food. And while the food is very fattening and all, it is one of my guilty pleasures that I have to admit. I ordered their jumbo platter. It came with 4 sides, 2 scoops of rice, chicken, beef and short ribs. Let me tell you. For $ 11, I did not expect to get that much food. Let along, I did not even believe they could put that much food on their plate. The garlic potatoes were the best side dish I could ever imagine. They basically caramelized the potatoes and added garlic and herbs. This makes the potatoes extra crunchy as if you were eating graham crackers, but the difference is that it is potato. The mac salad was basically macaroni with carrots and some green(thinking it is lettuce) with the mayo being kinda watery, but it tastes so good. It also came with fried dumplings and glass noodles. There were also other side dishes as well, but I was going high carb that day. All the meats were tender and chewy. The good thing is that the meat was grilled right to order like it should be and the owner was very friendly and talkative. If you were at Brentwood Town Centre and you wanted to have a giant meal to reward yourself or to calm your sadness. This will be a great place to have. However, do keep in mind. Keep this restaurant as a reward and not your daily kitchen.

Went there for the first time yesterday. We had the beef and chicken special, loved all the side dishes. My god those potatoes were like candy! so its good to get the broccoli to balance it out. They heaped on lots of kimchee too. Good value and the staff were busy but still happy to see us. And a drink came with the meal-bonus! This place filled us up under ten bucks each and fueled us enough to face the task of buying a vacuume cleaner at Sears. Done and done!

Great place for lunch in the mall. Garlic potatoes are delish to go with their chicken and beef combos. The owner is very friendly and has a big smile for his regulars. If you’re nearby and hungry this is your best bet. Will be back again and again.

It’s hard to call this fast food. Quality, quantity, variety… The only thing fast food about Koryo is that meals are under $ 10. It’s a fantastic selection of grilled meats, and unique side dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. Treat yourself to macaroni salad, or a big healthy pile of green beans… that’s right, healthy fast food! Better yet, don’t choose; have both! Their entrée special comes with three side dishes… Amazing! Warning…their honey garlic roast potatoes are an instant addiction. Crunchy, salty, sweet. BOOM! Mind blown!

Can’t give 4 stars to a mall food place but this place is great. Combo meals are large, good value and healthy with green beans, broccoli, tofu, kimchi, etc. BBQ is always well done and portions are fair. I am a real fan of their Udon noodles and have it regularly. Great broth, veggies and toppings of your choice. Not as good as a good noodle shop but well above average for mall food.

Overall, I am not a fan of fast food because it is so obviously bad for you. But Koryo is so delicious– it’s worth it! I LOVE the BBQ Beef Flamer. Oh my goodness, they are SOGOOD. The BBQ sauce that they put on them is the best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had in my entire life. I usually get french fries and dip the fries in BBQ sauce on the side because it is that good(and I’m that unhealthy). But there are tons of other sides you can get too… garlic potatoes, steamed broccoli, glass noodles, rice, salad, etc. It’s great!

The word«Koryo» originated from the name of the Goryeo(Koryo) Dynasty from which«Korea» was derived. Located in the food court of the Brentwood mall. — Koryo is a lovely addition to the typical fast food type places that populate most food courts. Korean style BBQ-d meats done as part of an entrée or on a bun(called a Flamer) with special bbq sauce, cabbage(instead of lettuce) and tomato. A lovely selection of sides including glass noodles, rice, tofu, garlic potatoes, kimchi, french fries, macaroni salad, dumplings, or green beans. I find myself craving Flamers for lunch and then can’t decide if I want chicken or beef. WHYDOTHEYFORCEMETOMAKESUCHDIFFICULTCHOICES… of course they are so reasonably priced I could easily buy two but then I would have to buy new(bigger) clothes every few months and that doesn’t sound very frugal. They also have a wide variety of udon soups that they make right in front of your eyes… steam the noodles and veggies, add broth and grilled meats. VOILA! Everything so delicious and remember, if you get fries with your meal, ask for an extra serving of their bbq sauce to dip your fries in.
