Bella Pizza

This place has good Pizza. They have other stuff too, but since I don’t have a Menu, I always get their «Masterpiece» pizza. Price is right for a pizza that doesn’t make me sick after I eat it.

We ordered 3 boxes of pizza on special for a lazy holiday party. Prompt delivery, polite person on the phone, no errors in order. Pizza was well cooked with crispy crust.

The pizza is decent. The free delivery is nice.
But, the lasagna with meat sauce (not meatballs)… it was very bland. Mainly, it was lacking some salt (I’m guessing in the red sauce/​when the noodles were being boiled.
I feel bad giving a 2-​star rating, because the pizza can probably earn 4 stars. But, the quality and taste of the lasagna was just not worth it in my opinion.

This place has proven to have great deals, excellently made pizza and pasta. I normally (for comparison) eat from Panago or Flying Wedge but I like to get a couple pizzas and some pasta. The owner is very polite and charming. I usually get the pizza and pasta special which for $ 24.50 is a great deal, they even allow me extra toppings on occasion :)
My only complaint is that the menu of set pizzas has stayed the same for a long time. Unlike a lot of other pizza places, these guys stay stagnant and it’s not terrible but I wish they would spice up their menu a bit.

Just ordered for the first time, pretty awesome! Great topping selection and pretty good specials. I ordered a pizza with artichokes, salmon and feta cheese, and it also came with a very generous helping of mozzarella. Delicious. I ordered hot wings and Greek salad as well, Greek salad was perfect with enough feta and a good light dressing and the wings were ok but there wasn’t enough sauce and the sauce isn’t a classic hot wing sauce so I was a tad disapointed. Delivery took just over a half an hour, over all very impressive!

Poor customer service when dealing with issues experienced with food. Pizza is OK, but ordering issues and having manager argue with me when experiencing an issue makes this a no go for future orders.

I find Bella to be consistent across town. I ordered the gourmet vegetarian and it was really good. Polite staff and good food. I recommend Bella for good, cheesy pizza.

The pizza at this location is about as good as the Hemlock location (my fav of the Bella Pizza restaurants). The service is fast… the order taking has the ‘save your phone number to your address’ type system… so it’s quick to get an order in as well.
Where they lose some points… I just ordered the lasagna for the first time here (usually just a pizza)… and it is not near the lasagna of the Hemlock location. Oh well… I’ll stick to the pizza.

Definitely compared to the Best Neighbour’s of the worlds, don’t think BP comes close but it’s decent for value. or maybe i just didn’t order the good stuff like the hawaiian as other Unilocalers have.
The capricossa was good, salami & italian sausage, and crust better than expected.
Baked lasagna was so so, meat sauce wasn’t as tangy or meaty.
Prob. won’t be rushing back.

I used to come here since I live by Metrotown but it’s sooooo salty, When I used to order here I’d be up half the nite drinking water, don’t know if it’s just salt or if there is msg or something in the ingredients but I know my mouth is dry as hell after eating their pizza. I don’t come here anymore.

I use them because they are the only place that offers paying online WITHOUT a verification of identification upon delivery. Which means I can buy pizza for my family even tho I live in the States. Which becomes extremely convenient.
Their pizza (as I was told, since I’ve never personally tried it), is good and amazing.
One star down for the delivery failure last time. I had order the pizza to be deliver to a store in Metrotown, however there was a mixed up and the pizza didn’t get deliver on that day. However, the owner was really nice about it, and he was able to fix things with me after a week.

This pizza was quite good. Just enough cheese. The right amount of sauce. And the sauce was crunchy and chewy. Compared to Viva sue, which always has double cheese even if you tell them not to put it (it can be a bit much).
We ordered the Bella Chicken and BBQ Chicken. My sister actually liked them, and she’s the biggest pizza critic in the house. The only thing we both thought was strange was that the BBQ sauce was mixed with tomato sauce so it tasted more l like a sweet, tangy marinara. But according to her, it was way better than Stan’s Pizza (who didn’t put enough sauce on her BBQ chicken pizza).
I shall be back! But yes, I agree with Kat. the price is a bit of a deterrent.

I would love to give 4 and a half stars, but I can’t so I rounded up.
I have been going to this Bella for 3 years. It is amazing. Only reason for the negative half star is simply the price, and options for combining specials to get the best deal (I’m comparing to Viva Sue which is just as good, but less expensive for 2 pizzas). However, the quality of ingredients and the amazing sauce make me go back time and time again.
The Gourmet Vegetarian pizza is to die for. Seriously, I am drooling right now just thinking of it. I love pesto on my pizza, and this place doesn’t skimp. They are also very generous with their cheese. The crust is doughy and just right, though don’t bother asking them for their «thin crust», I really never found a difference, except it may have been rolled out a little more. I love the little ball of dough they add to the centre to keep the box from touching the toppings. Yum!
They’ll give you extra sauce for free, if you like your pizza with lotsa sauce! Just ask.
Also, the owner is so nice and sweet. I love a little family shop like this.

Been a Bella fan since they were at their old location on Denman. Although this is the Bby location, I use the Hornby one. Best pizza not only in Vancouver but easily in the Top 10 worldwide.
Forget all these bargain 2 for 1 deals with the chains, get Bella and you’ll never go back to any other pizza shop again.

YUM YUM YUM! Very hearty and rich pizzas! Their dough is great and they don’t skimp out on anything. Quick delivery too. My only complaint is that due to how they layer the toppings, sometimes when you take a bite you run the risk of pulling the whole topping off the pizza, but it’s a small price to pay for tasty pizza.
