Quiet place to visit with friends and alone! Vintage décor. Not very crowded. About ten combos are available. Will come back to try the Taiwanese snacks later! Plenty street parking around.

Came at 11.10am and the guy told us they won’t be ready until 11.30. I mean… if you won’t be ready by 11.30, why put 11am as opening time? And from my previous visits, i know they take a bit long in preparing the orders, so it’s not like 11.30 our food will be ready. Food came at almost 12. A very disappointing visit. They really should improve the service because the food are actually really good. I almost have tried all in the menu, and nothing was bad so far. However, with the service like this, it would be a real turn-off.

One of my favorite taiwanese places in Burnaby. Comfortable seating, great service and excellent food. They don’t offer a big menu but I think that’s better so the food can be more specialized and fresh instead of putting 100 items on their menu. I would say this is a more artisan taiwanese restaurant than the other more conventional ones. Bubble teas are good too I especially enjoy the passion fruit green tea. Combo is of good value as well. Free parking in the back and also on the street in front of the restaurant(except from 3−6pm). Cash only. Highly recommended!

We drove all the way to south Burnaby and looked for a good Taiwanese restaurant. The place looked new and clean, the menu quite limited, the service was ok but the food was sucks! Taiwanese style stir fried noodles — Bland and so soaky! Popcorn chicken and deep fried squid balls — So shitty. Beef noodles — Salty and chewy! Even they offer 10% off when you checked in at Unilocal. They definitely need to improve the food quality if they want the business going on.

Service has been so-so since I started going there. The staff would keep to themselves and forgot our orders on several visits. A few times they had issues with kitchen equipment and were nice enough to tell us what food couldn’t be cooked. They’ve changed their menu, so if you’re a vegetarian, they got rid of lots of stuff. A really big disappointment as they were good home cooked food. Positive note: their milk tea with grass jelly or pearls is definitely a drink to get.

Terrible service! The food portions are so small even for me and I don’t eat that much. The drinks were mediocre at best. Don’t waste your time.
