Action Glass Inc.

They quoted me 6 months ago. Since that time the window quoted was no longer available. They honoured the quote and upgraded my glass. I was super impressed. They did a mobile service at my work. I didn’t actually even get to meet them. They picked up my car keys from the front desk and returned them when they were done. I would highly recommend them.
PS: One of the only companies to actually recycle your window!

Our company needed a window replaced as part of a WCB situation. I have been dealing for the past week and a half with an awesome lady by the name of Paula who went above and beyond her expectations. In fact the whole company did. They went to job site and they did an estimate first.
Here is where they fell flat with me. They misquoted our initial order and then offered to order something completely different which is was more expensive. In other words, we felt that it was a bait and switch situation. Granted we didn’t give them enough information to begin with but we did give them enough for them to prepare for the job site that day.

I was the victim of a smash-​and-​grab over night, and needed to have my car window fixed ASAP. I phoned Action Glass at 9, and they were able to fit me in at noon the same day.
The finish time was pushed back by about two hours, but they were very good about phoning me about it and keeping me up to date.
I could say they made it look like nothing even happened, but actually it was better than before, because not only did they fix the window, they got all the broken glass off the floor, from between the seat cushions, everywhere, and it looked (and smelled) like they gave the back seat area a detailing. This was a really nice surprise, as I was anticipating having to clean up the broken glass myself and I was not looking forward to it.

Things I am happy about:
The client service rep was exceptional in answering my questions. The job was done with some issues but it was completely done at the end. An accurate quote was provided at a timely manner. In the beginning of the process, the people I encountered seem genuine and willing to help.
Things I am NOT happy about:
The installation team lacks attention to details. They were granted the opportunity to access the roof top but they took the easy way by installing the window from the inside of the unit. As a result, the window was not properly installed which requires another service call the following day. When I confronted the manager (Mike) at Action Glass, he claimed that his workers were forced to install from the inside because the building manager did not show up or answer her call. I verified with the building manager (checked with security camera) and tenant, I realized what Action Glass said was untrue. I don’t mind spending more time getting the job done right, but I feel very strong against their dishonesty. A simple «Sorry, let us fix that» would suffice but instead making up something that is completely untrue.
