Pita Pit

This is a nice place to stop for lunch or a quick dinner.
The crew here are so upbeat and enthusiastic that I swear I eat more.
I like Pita Pit pitas because the ingredients are so fresh. I always order the black bean pita will lots of veggies on the grill, and then get the pita stuffed with more raw veggies. There’s a good selection of veggies to choose from, and if you can’t decide, the staff will help you choose.
My only problem then, is that my pita get so full that it overflows and falls apart and I end up wearing a lot of it. (so ask for extra napkins)
The service here is fast, and as I said, cheerful. They often have a tray of baked pita chips with several dips set out on the counter. It’s worth trying a few different flavours — you might find a new favourite.

We gave Pita Pit a try when we needed to grab something to eat in the car that was not greasy. It was an excellent choice. I thought it was slightly pricey, but you do get much larger portions than at other similar restaurants. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and it tasted great, I would definitely order it again. My husband was able to get a breakfast wrap in the afternoon, which was handy. They do seem to have a good selection of options. My only problem is that I asked for lots of sauce, I do this all the time and should know better. It tasted great, but by the time I reached the bottom of the Pita it was a giant mess, and it was all over my clothes and seatbelt. My fault I know, but something you should keep in mind if you are eating in the car. I loved the food here, and if I’m ever looking for lunch in the area again, I will be back.
