Banana Republic

This particular BR store has very poor customer service! Some of the ladies on the sales floor and the young guy at the cash register are friendly and offered assistance. However, the girls in the change room were too busy chatting amongst themselves to greet me when I showed up to try on clothing. And then when she was ready to let me into a change room, she didn’t even look at me or smile, but simply opened a door and said «Here you go.» and then walked away!
To top it off, there was a lineup (not long but still a lineup) at the cash registers and only one young kid (who was great) actually ringing people through. A sales lady was at another cash register doing something (?). I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was something more urgent and important than helping with customers. And some guy who looked like maybe he was the manager was just milling about. At first he was on the phone. And then he was he preoccupied with his cell phone. And then he just walked around the general area. Made eye contact but again no greeting no smile. Just caught up with his own stuff. La La La…
Still a BR fan but will avoid this particular store. There are plenty others to choose from. Or I’ll just shop online since my computer gives off more warmth than these people.
