Heard the food was good, but apparently I’m 10 minutes late and they only serve deep fried frozen crap after 10pm? Absolute stupidity. Least they could’ve done was take into consideration the customer is only 5 minutes late. Good customer service goes a long way these days I’ll be back Wednesday before 10pm and update this then

What a dump. This place hasn’t seen a stick of updating since the 80’s. There is a blown out window that is just boarded up. The food is lacking in every department. It would be nice to see this place get sold and new management turn it into something fun.

I go here fairly often because I work very close by. It’s a great place to get chicken fingers(they are superior chicken fingers… seriously) and burgers and such. Really enjoyable french fry wedges, too! There isn’t a huge selection of beer, but some of it is internally-brewed, which is cool – and something Brampton needs more of. As far as environment, the service is always friendly, though sometimes a bit less frequent than I’d like. There are a variety of places to sit, from a sun room area, to a patio, to a regular pub-type seating. There’s even a fireplace spot if you can get it! Anyhow: this really is just a solid, comfy place with decent food and a nice atmosphere. I recommend it if you’re looking for reasonably good comfort food.

Great little hidden gem. Out of the way but good people and good pub style food. They brew one brown ale that is easy drinking. Owner was on hand and loved talking about beer

Probably a 3.5, but let’s round up for the sake of math rules and Brampton pride. They brew their own beer, and the dark lager was really nice and smooth, virtually no foam but still very good carbonation. Only $ 4 for the pint, so that’s great too. My wife and I shared 2 pounds of wings and a poutine. The pound of wings is very much to the letter of the law, so to speak, with about 7 – 8 per pound. That said, they’re fairly large and they only charge $ 6 more for another pound — so the value is pretty good if you go that route. The hot wings were good. I should pay closer attention, but I think they may have been quickly grilled after they were fried. We did the dry cajun for the other pound we had was just okay however. I’d probably try something else, or just another pound of hot. The wedge fries for the poutine were nice, and cooked from fresh potatoes which is the dealmaker. The cheese was grated cheddar rather than curds, so not the real deal — but still good. It’s a pretty large menu, and would like to see how everything else is. Based on my food today, I would anticipate something fairly solid. It’s a heritage building over 100 years old. It is somewhat of a dive in ways(could use new carpeting); however it’s quite unique, an interesting layout and has it’s own charm.

I stopped by here last night with my wife for dinner. We actually had a little trouble locating the restaurant and then once we did had some parking issues as all 4 spots for the brewpub were full. Thankfully there was a public garage a short walk away that was free on Sunday and so we parked there. We ended up entering the brewpub shortly after 5PM to find it mostly empty. This combined with the rather rustic look scared us a little bit. Upon reading the menu we learned that it used to be a knitting mill and a lot of the building and decorations were left over from that. So that at least partially explained the cold and the plastic bag like ceiling. The actual setup of the restaurant was also a bit weird with a giant bar with 4 flat screen TVs in the middle and a number of separate dining rooms surrounding it. Even though my wife and I were still a little leery at this point we decide to start off the meal with the pulled pork poutine for an appetizer while I went with the chicken souvlaki for my entrée and my wife went with the buffalo chicken wrap. Beyond that I also ordered their house made unfiltered dark beer which was the real reason we were here. It tasted much like a brown ale and I thoroughly enjoyed the pint along with another one later. Our poutine came out first and was surprisingly good. It consisted of potato wedges with cheese, pulled pork and gravy. The gravy was very good and had a nice flavor to it while the potato wedges were very crispy. Last but not least the pulled pork was also very good and had some barbecue sauce that gave it a nice tang. After we quickly polished that off our entrees came out. My entrée consisted of a half plate of Greek salad, grilled chicken, rice and some tzatziki sauce. The chicken was flavorful and had a grilled taste while the Greek salad was refreshing. My wife thought that her wrap was good and I noticed that the potato wedges that came with it had the same great crispiness that really helped to make the poutine so good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. At first the lack of customers and appearance had my wife and I scared but we left having enjoyed both the beer and food.

Walked in and I felt like I was back at home at my old country pub. Seriously, this place is a dive when you first walk in. But it does have it’s charm. My friend and I chose a cozy place near the fireplace on a landing in these old, like old sherlock holmes kind of living room chairs placed around a glass table. We were there for their beer and wings Sunday special. We ordered them well done, a little cristpy wing with ½ hot and ½ honey garlic with a pitcher of light draft! Yum! We downed them and laughed at how we just kept licking our fingers after they were gone. Soooo… we ordered a poutine, which was small potato wedges with deliciously sinful gravy and three cheese medley! Double yum! Could be the cold weather, or the fact that I hadn’t eaten all day or the fact that this place makes some damn good pub grub. I was satisfied. A little tough to find off Queen St, gotta go to the back of the building and down the slope. It doesn’t look like much, but be adventurous and try something outside of the chain style restaurants. You will enjoy the country pub experience.

New management and recently updated with great exposed beams and a home like, cabin feel. This place is a tucked away gem of Brampton. They have a massive Patio, big flat screens, and stay true to what it is, a pub. The food is amazing, and they have great specials. I highly recommend their own micro brew as well. As far as the menu goes the nachos, wings, and country fries(with gravy or even poutine) are on point. The local brew they make is also really well priced. This place is a new favorite for me, and with their specials during the week make it a great value.

Tracks Brewpub is a pretty cool place to visit for a drink if you are in Brampton. Built in 1910 along the banks of the Etobicoke Creek, the structure that now houses Tracks Brew Pub was originally a warehouse belonging to the Brampton Knitting Mill. There are still some ornaments and details around the buildings that are from the original knitting Mill. Tracks Brewery is also one of the first local brewery in Ontario and has been brewing since 1986. Their house brew Old Mill Lager is priced at $ 4.50 a pint and on Wednesday Home Brew Special going for $ 4.05. The inside does looks dated, but I guess it is the charming part of it? There is a decent patio and the inside is really spacious. Service is friendly, great place for a night cap and to catch a game and support a neighbourhood brewery!
