The Calgary area’s first DSW has recently opened in the ever flipping over mall that is Cross Iron. The store is large, but it seems a little empty. They have shoes, that are designer brands, and the space is large enough that it could be called a warehouse, so it plays to its name, but for a store of this size I still found it hard to find something This could be different for the women’s shoes, but for the men’s it just seemed like there were a handful of different styles in each section in a couple different colours. Also the clearance section didn’t really seem to have discounted prices. The section was just filled with shoes that they only had a couple left of that were part of the same sale as the rest of the store. I would come here again to see what they have but I wouldn’t go out of my way to Cross Iron when I could just hit up their sister store, Shoe Warehouse, which is practically the same thing.
