This is my 3rd attempt at eating here as i was working close by. Overpriced food and the cook (definately not a chef) cares nothing about what they put out. I ordered the Bacon/​Mushroom & Swiss burger. The burger bun was burnt and had a thumbprint pushed into it. The lettuce was brown and slimy and there was 2 mushroom slivers. Talk about a final letdown.

Great service. Personable staff. Don’t normally like onion rings but loved them here. The omelet poutine was excellent. The gravy is great. Coffee is never cold or empty. Portion size was great. Definitely eat here and leave satisfied.

Taste of home-​made food in what feels like a real country roadhouse. Comfy couches and prompt service. Endless coffee refills. Flame broiled bacon-​swiss-​mushroom burger for $ 13 is great for the price. Home made soups are delicious. No frills, quality food and service. You can relax in your snowboots and trucker hat. Great place to stop for a snack on your way out of Edmonton. Easy to spot, right beside the giant «ESSO» sign on a hill just after the stripmalls end in Sherwood Park. Didn’t like the deep fried potato pancakes, will stick to the burger. A nice local alternative to the generic stop-​over chains like «Home».
