Good diner food. Reasonably priced just waitresses get distracted easily because it’s so busy all the time.

Our group of 4 stopped in here instead of the Mc’D’s style of lunch while in town for a wedding to attend. Nice change and a treat to be served in great time and a smile. We ordered a variety — the roasted chicken pieces, tomato meat sauce and macaroni soup(soooo good! and a filling amount), ham sammy, fries and gravy, philly steak sammy. All meals served ‘hot’ — gravy was a good dipping supplement. Not bad at all. A nice change. Price was decent. Parking at side and rear.

Dinner for 5 came to $ 85…seems pricy for diner food. Service was staggered, we’re served in stages. Food was ok.

Worst restaurant meal I have ever had. I am generally easily pleased with food. The meal here was a total disaster, quality wise. We arrived around 2 pm. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with onion rings, my wife ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a side Caesar. The only half decent part was the side Caesar and the toasted butter garlic bread. The salad came with packaged dressing, no cheese on it and in a tiny bowl. Any attempt to put a fork in the lettuce caused some of the salad to pop out of the bowl. The spaghetti was severely over cooked. Not just«not al dente» but seriously mushy. I have had canned spaghetti that was far better. The meatballs were bland and the sauce was quite acidic. My wife could not eat it. So I did. It repeated on me for the rest of the day. It even gave me heart burn, which rarely is a problem for me. My wife took one bite of the Philly Cheesesteak and gave up on that as well. The bottom half of the bun was extremely soggy, as if it had been steamed. The steak, cheese and sauce were so-so. But a soggy bun was a show stopper, even for me. We will never go back there again. We would have had a far superior meal if we had gone down the street to McDonald’s or Timmy’s for lunch.

Nice local place, service was nice and friendly. Also, prices are cheap for some reasonably good quick eats. Specifically, the Philly cheesesteak was thin and had too much of a processed cheese flavour. The fries were not crunchy and pretty tasteless. I like how a lot of things come with a drink, also the breakfast came with lots of bacon. Also, the large selection of pies was nice.

This place has that old school diner feel and they aren’t even trying. You can tell this is a neighbourhood fixture, full of local character. The breakfast I ordered was fast, hot and good, the price was terrific too.
