Rendezvous Restaurant

Disappointed again with this restaurant. The pizza (and baked spaghetti) has been terrible. Considering the higher price, these pizzas lack substance. They’re over-​salted, glorified frozen supermarket pizzas. I would suspect the specials are pre-​made, frozen, and cooked to order. We called to complain, spoke to an arrogant Greek who talked over my Dad, refused to accept criticism and offer a viable solution, and hung up twice. Order Oceanpark or Ricardo’s.

It was very quiet here tonight but I don’t think that would matter as the hostess and server are extremely friendly, as if you are the only people in the restaurant. We had the moussaka platter and chicken cordon blue schnitzel. Both were served in good time and tasted not bad. The schnitzel had a lot of sauce but still good. The moussaka was average and I didn’t love the bland flavor. The Greek salad it came with was covered in dressing. We would come back again and try something different. The price was right.

Well, to be blunt, I am severely disappointed. After waiting nearly a decade for my order to be taken, we waited another ungodly period of time to recieve my appetizer. The appetizer was delicious at least. But then we waited another period of time that rivaled how long it took for king Tut to die, mummify and then be found again, and we reicved our entrees that had about as much flavor as water. And once again, once we were done eating we waited enough time to get a head start on my movember beard, and then we recieved our bill (that also took stupidly long to arrive) and finally walked out, after paying way too much for our «service» and «food» and now that I’m home, went straight to the interwebs. I had a better time writing this review than I could imagine anybody having at this restaurant, so please do yourself a favor and just grab a big mac.

This restaurant is fantastic. The pasta is consistently amazing and the service is so friendly. I have been coming here for over 20 years and I’ve never left unhappy.
Even though I haven’t lived in Abbotsford for years, I make trips here just to dine at this institution. If you’re in the mood for Greek or pasta in Abbotsford, there really is no better choice.

Love this place. The roast lamb is delicious and a large enough portion for two meals. The calamari is also really good. They have their own Greek dressing that’s sold around town, super garlicy but again, delicious. The backed lasange, spaghetti are really good.
