Been here about a dozen times and seems to the best service and quality out of the other Famoso’s. Although they don’t have all the pasta options Guildford has!
Especially since they’ve all switched to full service dining. That half and half service in the past was confusing and frustrating!

First of all, the layout is crowded and terrible. We got the lovely chance of sitting next to a family with 3 wild toddlers. One was practically climbing on me.
Then there was the 50 minute wait for our pizza that probably takes 10 minutes to make. The staff was friendly and apologetic, I’ll give them that. The pizza was fine, but not worth the wait and the price.
Famoso? More like Restaurant Hell.

Mediterranean flatbread is to die for, I love the charred edges and the cheesey Parmesan tang.
Been here several times and have never been disappointed. Excellent for lunch or dinner… I kid you not!

Undercooked pizza and the taste is not on par with other placed that serve similar pizza in the area. The taste does no justice to the taste of the pizza. The sauce was really unedible although I can not remeber which pizza’s I ordered. One had a vegetables and a brownish sauce which was somewhat decent all though it was mostly undercooked bread. The rest on the other hand did no justice to the price.

So I read some reviews in Unilocal giving this place 1 star. We have frequented this pizzeria since it open. Hands down the tastiest pizza this side of the bridge. Fresh toppings, incredible staff with friendly smiles and 5 star service from management. We have been there for a bite after seeing a movie and loved the meal and grab some dessert to finish it off, to our pleasant surprise the lovely tall long haired brunette manager comes over to say thank you and that dessert was on her that night. Such loveliness.
Food was killer, service was outstanding and prompt. We go back often because it’s that good.

I’ve had real Napoli pizza, and this was a far cry from it. Crust was nice. Sauce was passable — simple, if not bland, but at least it tasted fresh. The deal breaker was the use of canned mushrooms and canned pineapple for the toppings. Unforgivable, and totally unnecessary. We won’t be back.

Bland pizza. Tomato sauce tasted like they cracked a can of diced tomatoes on the pizza. Wine was over priced. Not worth it.

Heard awesome things about the pizza here… Was not impressed. The crust was soggy, the pizza was bland. Even the tomato sauces used in other dishes was bland. Its an interesting idea but not sure how it will stay in business with the costs of importing the dough and tomatoes on the regular… We had the sicilian pizza. Maybe try a different one?

Undercooked pizza, mediocre and overpriced wine and a manager with poor attitude and you have a all the ingredients for a ruined evening. There are less pretentious pizzerias in Abbotsford and we far better pizza.

Ordered for a certain time, went to pickup and they were remaking my pizzas so had to wait 15mins… Was not impressed. Pizza was decent tasting but not at all worth the money.

Fun concept barista style ordering. Had lunch with the family on the patio. They gave pizza dough to kids to play with while they waited for their kids meals. I had the abruzzo my wife had the arugula and prosciutto both were fantastic. Staff and prices were great. Can’t wait to come back

If you have a big group, go elsewhere. Just went for a leaving lunch with some co workers. We booked ahead as we only get an hrs lunch and there were 28 of us. We found out 40 mins after sitting down that they were just starting our pizzas. When they did start rolling out it was thick and fast and the food was good but a 2hr lunch break was a bit much when we’d tried to plan for the numbers.
Obviously these are gourmet pizzas so don’t expect the usual toppings. Be adventurous.

I went to Famoso with very little expectations. Wood oven, rustic Italian pizzas seem to be the new trend and Famoso hits it right on the money with their pizzas. Very comparable to some of the best pizza places in Vancouver. I ordered the Siciliana and Prosciutto Arugula with truffle oil. I also got a Caprese salad. Everything was top notch, fresh, good portion sizes, and reasonable p[rices. The only downfall was that by Siciliana pizza was a little bit soggy. Overall, a great pizza place that i will definitely come back to.

The food is phenomenal, their drinks are delish, but their service is the best I’ve ever had. Their staff and servers are incredible, the first time my friends and I went there we ordered sangria, they ran out of oranges for it, so the manager apologized for the delay, then personally went out and purchased more oranges from the local market so we could enjoy our drink, then to top it off offered a free dessert for the inconvenience. This place is the best I’ve been treated in all my life of dining. That combined with the quality of food and beverage there’s really no reason not to come here.

This place is great, foods is fresh and everything I’ve had has been amazing. I eat here regularly and find it hard to just eat normal pizza again. I’ll normally eat a whole pizza to myself and feel full but not gross or bloated like if you ate a whole panago pizza. If you havnt tried it before I would highly recommend it.
