Used to come every Sunday when this was ABC. Last visit today for sure. We had buffet I’ve been nauseous ever since. Food in chafers but they weren’t lit! Food cold. Only turkey cutlet(which was good as usual) was warm. Hash browns scraping bottom. Had been hot at one time because bottom of pan was dark brown and stuck. English muffin cold and tough. Poached egg immersed in cold water(ugh). Green salad mush because it was chopped so small. Dressing so thick you could cut it. Coffee hot when we got it. Desserts so sad. Dried up puddings and a few squares. Butter tarts were unbelievably salty. Inedible. Where was the yummy black Forrest cake there used to be and the apple pie? We won’t be back. Saw there was a new Denny’s at the new sandman hotel. Will give it a try. Oh yah. No more seniors discount. They can’t afford it. Really??? Sunday’s alone should make them rich. It is always busy. I have to admit if you order from the menu the food is great and no one can beat their coconut cream pie. The pieces are so huge my husband and I split one and still have more than enough. I so miss their chicken noodle soup. When they took that off the menu it was a sad day. A bowl of soup and their fabulous tea biscuit or cornbread and I was a happy camper. So all in all as long as you don’t do the buffet the food is good.

Friendly Staff and Great Service. I like the cosy bench seats and quiet settings. eg the tables are not close together like other restaurants. I highly recommend!

Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant! This place knows how to cook and the people must know it. It’s always busy inside. Well done people!

New name change(Ricky’s Country) same great food menu with excellent breakfast options. Best for desserts as the pies are fabulous!

Here for buffet dinner. For was disgusting. Potatoes made from powder. Turkey stuffing make from stove top box. Turkey was ok. Caesar salad was flavourless. I would avoid this place at all cost.

So I went to ABC Country Restaurant twice in a weekend. But I went to two different locations.(Does that make it more strange, or less?) Popped by this location on the way to the Abbotsford airport. It’s always a good thing to fill yourself full of protein before getting on a plane, since goodness knows, they don’t feed you on them anymore.(Bits and bites don’t count.) I ordered the classic eggs and ham. It wasn’t cheap, but it wasn’t expensive. Interestingly enough, this location has a slightly different menu then the one in Mission BC. This one seemed to be more Eastern European focused. You could get perogies with your breakfast! The waitresses were really nice, but I did find it strange that the hostess was dusting the place while we had our breakfast. No one likes a swiffer being waved around while you’re eating(but I bet from the vigor that she was working with that is a really good employee, and that the place is CLEAN.)

This is our go-to restaurant for comfort food. The décor is very country and the ambiance is cozy. This is a very popular restaurant so come prepared to wait for up to an hour to be seated unless you come around 5pm. The selection is enormous but that doesn’t make the food quality go down or the flavor! The waitresses are very nice. The food is always good, you might not have room for dessert so make a special visit just for that.

3 stars for the food, but 4 stars for the desserts! Almost rivalling Denny’s lol w/their wide array of desserts. Came here specifically for their mile high famous lemon meringue pie but unfortunately, sold out, and was told won’t be baking anymore – good sign that it’s fresh, i suppose; this was around noon. Ordered the turkey schnitzel, lightly breaded, alright. same for the mashed potatoes. So instead, I tried their pralines mini-doughnuts, though slightly larger than PNE’s lol, still good in its own right but prefer pne, for old time’s sake. ABC still yummy as it came w/whipped cream, a bit of caramel drizzle too. Would order this again, sure. But do prefer the atmosphere here, as it’s quite homey and casual.

This ABC is in the Best Western on Marshall Road. I was at the hotel for a meeting and wanted to grab a quick meal before the meeting started. There were many people here eating, and a few of the larger tables with Reserved signs on them. Disappointed to have to now drive somewhere else to eat, we went to leave. There was a small two seater table empty. We asked for it, and they said they don’t let anybody sit at that table because it isn’t big enough. OK…are you serious or am I being punked? That was the second time this place ticked me off… bad ABC bad.
