Terzetto Café

Buen lugar para desayunar o comerse algo dulce. Ambiente con poca onda pero correcto (semejante a una típica confitería de Recoleta al estilo Dos Escudos).
Desayuné 2 veces acá y menciono varios aspectos positivos:
— Buenas opciones de menúes
— Uno de los pocos lugares con buen aire acondicionado para desayunar
— Buenos baños ;-)
— Uno de los pocos lugares con ensalada de frutas!
— Excelente café (debiera estar primero en esta lista)
Precios quizá un poco más arriba que la media pero nada zarpado.

Meu restaurante/​café favorito perto de casa. Vou muito lá com a família. Os pratos de massa são ótimos, amo o ravioli de vitela e os pratos de peixe também são sempre boa pedida. Eles fabricam os pães e vc pode comprar p levar p casa. No capítulo sobremesas, o tiramisu e a torta mousse de chocolate com telha de amêndoas merecem uma provinha. E claro, o café expresso também é super bem tirado! Para o café da manhã os ovos mexidos e o suco verde são delícia! Não é muito barato e o atendimento às vezes é meio lento mas a comida compensa! Acho que já provei o cardápio todo :)

Came here for a coffee, had the cappuccino Italiano and it was surprisingly good. All their coffee is grown in the state of Rio de Janeiro, so about as local as it gets. Also had a tomato and basil omelette that was fluffy and delicious. Great easy brunch place. Very fast service.

I would have put a 0 if I could. The food is disgusting. The service is horrible. Nobody will try to help you and they don’t even have wifi. I had a carpaccio and a panini, non of them was good. I tried to order breakfast, but for some reason I did not understand, they wouldn’t do it. I took a mango juice obviously mixed with water. Really never go to this place if you are in Rio.

We had a great breakfast here. Exclusivo, or Natural if you’re really hungry, will satisfy any customer. Fresh fruit of the day (we had a papaya), fresh juice, good hot beverage, the white bread is good as well.
Employees are nice and we had a good laugh while trying to speak portuguese with our waiter.
After a good meal here, head to the beach (Copacabana or Ipanema) and enjoy a good digestion by walking with the feet in hot water. Mmmmmmm Riiiooooo…

A good place to start your day, especially if your hotel serves a lousy breakfast buffet. It is right across the metro station (General Osorio).
I got the executive breakfast. The assorted breads are freshly baked and it came with some cheese and other spreads. I have to say that their cappuccino is excellent! The whole thing was too much for one person, though.

Fui para o almoço super tarde depois de uma manhã na praia.
Confesso que achei o preço salgado para uma comida que não me surpreendeu em nada.
Não sei se por estar com uma amiga ainda com a roupa que tínhamos ido pra praia e termos comentado entre si do preço, o garfos nos atendeu super mal, quase duvidando que a gente fosse mesmo pagar pelo almoço.
Apesar de tudo, pedimos uma sobremesa deliciosa que parecia mais um sorvete, de tão cremosa. Lembro que era napolitana mas não lembro ao certo o nome que eles deram ao prato.

Ótimo para um café ou para refeições leves, ambiente agradável, atendimento ótimo. Em frente ao metro da praça general Osório, uma boa parada aos domingos após um passeio pela feira hippie. As saladinhas do balcão são uma delicia assim como os frapuccinos.

I waited 20 minutes for a table for 1. This was a bit much for me, I was starving. The place had a lot of tables hanging out and talking, seems like a great place to meet friends and have a relaxing casual meal, just don’t be in a hurry ;-) I had scrambled eggs and a café latte, both very good. Very reasonably priced too, ~18 reals total. Everyone was very kind, and you could tell they did not want to rush anyone at the same time trying to get me a table for 1. I’d go back if not in any sort of rush.

Thought the place was average but great service. If you go on a Sunday, there’s a market right across the street. Nice jewelry at the market ;)
The coffee was nice but most coffee in Brazil is awesome!

Cute little café next to the hippie market on Sundays. We came here to grab some breakfast before doing a little shopping and were very satisfied. Their foccacia breads were the best I have ever had, fluffy and light with great flavor. We got the traditional one with rosemary and the cheese and onion one. I wish I could bring this café back with me solely for their foccacia.
I also had the vanilla frappuccino which was perfect for the hot morning. My friends had some cheese pastries which were like little fried wontons filled with cheese, which she enjoyed, and some scrambled eggs. The desserts looked amazing and I wish I had the chance to try them. Service is a little slow, with items coming out at random times, but that seems to be the case for many of the places we have tried in Rio.
Just come for foccacia and you wont regret it!

I just went here for a late afternoon snack. You can just claim a table and they’ll give you a menu. Sitting outside allows you to people watch on the busy street corner.
I got that chocolate almond crunch cake that was absolutely delicious. It was rich but not overwhelming and had a perfect presentation.
Their cappuccino was also very delicious. Not bitter and well foamed.
Definitely will be back here for another snack or perhaps a meal at their restaurant next door.

This is my go-​to place when I am meeting a friend for coffee or when my sweet tooth gets the better of me and I want to pick up a dessert to go. They have great coffee, bread and desserts — one friend who visited insiisted on going back to buy more bread to have for a snack on the plane.
The interior décor is nothing special, but the service is good and I’ve never had trouble getting a table inside, or out front on the square when it isn’t too hot.

Very nice coffee and eggs and bread. Liked the place very much and went there twice fire breakfast. Always busy and crowded. Read about the place before and was sceptical but it’s a good place to have food. Especially if you have a seat outside

Terzetto is a classic. I can understand why Oscar Niemeyer used to dine here back in the day and that guy, if you didn’t already know, was true baller status in Brazil. Anyways, the place is great. Amazing service and the BEST Italian food in Brazil that I have encountered. I tried the chef’s menu with about 4 – 5 courses. I can’t remember right now since it was a couple of months ago. It was tasty and compared to other places in Rio not too crazy expensive which is impressive considering the quality of food and service. My wife and I, after finishing meals at other fine dining locations in Rio (ie Olympe, Le Pré Catelan, etc.), consistently state that, though, we are thankful for the opportunity to dine there, we would rather return to Terzetto. We plan on doing so here shortly and hopefully the first time wasn’t just a fluke experience. That would be utterly heart breaking.
Either way, as it stands, my best advice to you if you’re visiting or living here and want some quality Italian… GO TO TERZETTO. You won’t regret it.
Also, let me qualify my ability to rate Italian food really quickly because most people would assume that being an Asian guy, I, probably, am not all that familiar with Italian food. That’s actually very true since I didn’t really grow up with it and I’m no culinary expert. With that being said, I’ve traveled to Italy in my earlier 20s and had what I assumed was a «traditional”/OG Italian meal and it blew my mind! I have forever been in search of another meal outside of Italy like it.

One of my favorite cafés in Rio. The Coffee Éclair is delicious and the espresso is super premium. Ask for the Oro Blend to try a typical brazilian Arabica Coffee. To eat, the Duck Confit and the Coxinha are pretty delicious.

Lovely place for a quick breakfast. Located right by General osario square. The bread basket and coffee are great!

Do café não posso falar nada porque fui ao Terzetto para provar o almoço.
Entrar já foi difícil, como pensar em comer uma saladinha leve se a primeira coisa que você vê são pães, doces e delícias incríveis no balcão do café. Se controle, passé reto e suba as escadas para área reservada para refeições.
Já lá em cima, o garçom simpático te oferece o cardápio (sim você leu corretamente, os garçons são super simpáticos por aqui). Acabei pedindo o prato do dia, achei que seria mais rápido e como era um dia de semana não podia desperdiçar tempo algum. O prato era gostoso, mas acho que eu teria ficado realmente surpreendida e ganha aqui se tivesse pedido uma sobremesa.
Tenho que voltar e tomar o café da manhã, me disseram que é incrível ou mesmo só comer um docinho…

Confesso que não posso avaliar o Terzetto profundamente porque estive aqui para um almoço apenas — e de ressaca, diga-​se de passagem. Encontrei um restaurante simples, mas bem arrumado, com serviço treinado (apesar de que se você sentar no andar de cima pode ser difícil chamar o garçom, que fica circulando pela casa o tempo todo).
Pedi um dos pratos do dia, estrogonofe de frango acompanhado de batata sauté, e achei que a comida estava saborosa, mas sem grande destaque. Você poderia comer esse mesmo prato, com esse mesmo sabor, em muitos restaurantes por aí. De qualquer forma, a especialidade da casa são as massas, então tenho que voltar para provar uma delas.
Os preços não são dos mais baixos, mas também não fogem à atual realidade carioca. Por dois estrogonofes, mais um refrigerante e um mate, eu e minha acompanhante pagamos cerca de R$ 80. O lugar ainda tem uma boa variedade de itens de confeitaria, e os doces tinham uma cara ótima. Você também pode comprar saladas diferentes para levar para um almoço em casa, o que eu achei bacana.
Pretendo voltar sem ressaca qualquer dia desses para ter uma experiência mais fiel!

Excelente localização, pertissimo da estação do metro Ipanema. Apesar de poucos mesas, tem um ambiente acolhedor com garçons muito bem treinados atenciosos. Serve café da manhã, almoços/​jantares e lanches rapidos. Também vende seus produtos a peso para consumo fora do restaurante, com otimos pães, doces, saladas, tortas salgadas e varios tipos de salgadinhos. Tudo isto preparado com muito capricho e qualidade. Seus pratos de massas são excelentes!

Terzetto café mantém a qualidade do Terzetto restaurante em um ambiente mais descontraído e com preços mais acessíveis. Para começar, tem um excelente café e um excelente serviço, em um agradável ambiente, na movimentada esquina em frente ao metro General Osorio. Sua arquitetura com paredes envidraçadas nos permite participar do burburinho de Ipanema sem necessariamente compartilhar o ruido da movimentada Visconde de Piraja.
Oferece varias opções para comprar e levar, as saladas sao maravilhosas e eu sempre «namoro» a salada de polvo. Mas acabo ficando para comer por la e prometo sempre a mim mesma voltar (e cumpro, com muito prazer).
Sempre que posso, vou para o café da manha. Excelentes combinações. Sugiro o executivo, suficiente para dividir, adicionando uma ou duas bebidas quentes e sucos. O café latte é delicioso e o chocolate quente super especial, diferente de todos os outros que ja experimentei.
Para o almoço existem varias sugestões do dia, que ficam postadas do lado de fora, convidando a gente a entrar. E a voltar!

Um excelente anexo do restaurante! Oferece um cardápio variado de refeições, café, lanches, sobremesas. Com um atendimento excelente, o Terzetto café também chama a atenção por sua decoração sofisticada. Tempo de espera pelo pedido é rápido, além de ter um café da manhã e pratos saboroso!
Ótimo lugar para você tomar seu café da manhã ou um cafezinho a tarde em um dos bairros mais famoso do Rio de Janeiro.

Auf dem Weg von Ipanema Beach zur Metro Station haben wir hier kurz einen Kaffee getrunken. Sehr delikate Suessigkeiten, bzw. auch sehr schmackhafte Hauptspeisen. Preislich etwas gehoben, aber fuer diesen Stadtteil durchaus gaengig.
Das Restaurant/​Bistro ist aeusserst gut besucht, schwer einem Platz zu bekomnen. Leider etwas schade, wenn 4 Gaeste mit einem Glas Wasser einen Tisch blocken und man mit knurrenden Magen wartet:-)
