Traditional sushi restaurant located in downtown Rio de Janeiro on the the top floor of a downtown eletronic mall. The combination of Classic Tokyo sushi bar, minimalist opening hours, great reputation and even better food results in an often packed restaurant. The chef, Nao Hara, creates several tasting menus($ 60) with first-class fish for adventurous gourmands. The downside is because of its size and uniqueness of the menu service can be a little slow. Therefore don’t be in a hurry if you wanna go there.

Tucked away on the top floor of a downtown mall filled with computer repair shops and mobile phones, Shin Miura offers Rio’s very own take on the classic Tokyo sushi bar, with a reputation that ensures it is rarely short of packed for the duration of the minimalist opening hours. Much of that comes from the 40 years throughout which it has served the city’s businessmen and more adventurous gourmands first-class fish, but the chef, Nao Hara, is also a key part of the attraction. His tasting menus are around R$ 70 to $ 160, not too expensive, so worth to visit.
