Gallo Carioca

Just went to check this place out. It recently opened here in the downtown area. Their menu is pretty simple. they have an Executivo section where you can pick a type of meat and 2 side orders. The meat options were ½ galeto, miolo de alcatra, chicken breast and something else… and the sides were just broccoli rice, farofa with eggs, farofa with eggs and banana, feijão…i was amazed that there was no fries option. But when i asked they said they would be able to get me fries. (so yay!).
Besides the executive meal they have set options which come a meat and chicken with a sides. They say the serving size is for 3 – 4 people, and they range from R$ 140 — R$ 160 (if i remember correctly). Since we were a small group we went with the small executivo meals.
The portions were decent and the food was good. overall it was a good experience and would be willing to go back to try more options.
