OMG!!! Expedia lied to me! I wish I read reviews on Unilocal,at least you guys were truthful! This is not a hotel!!! I repeat, this is not a hotel!!! This is more like a motel. Pros 1. Beds and bathroom were clean 2. Location is amazing 3. Price is good 4. Concierge was nice 5. Free WiFi Cons 1. The beds were really uncomfortable, not real mattresses 2. The walls were stained with coffee and many scuff marks 3. There was no iron! They had a pant press! WTH is that? I ended up smoothing my blouses with water and then hanging it up to dry! 4. The vent was loud 5. Every time the vent turns on, the TV is fuzzy… 6. I could not draw the curtains because the windows open up to the elevators and other rooms. So when you are riding on the elevators, you can look into many of the rooms, mine was one =( 7. The absolute worst thing is that the walls were super thin, we heard people in the hall, every doors closing, elevators going up and down, someone turning on the faucet in the adjacent bathroom, etc. It woke me up many times. I plan on coming back to Brussels in the future because I am absolutely in love with this place and I plan to find a hotel. I will definitely spend more for the Hilton next time.

This hotel is only getting 1 star for its location . This place is old, dirty, beat down, and smells BAD ! When I walked in the lobby: smelled like toilet /sewer . The hallways: OMG … Dirty, stained, weird, the hallways zig zag like a maze. I felt like I was inside a giant modular home . The rooms ! The room: OMG … I was shocked to see where I was staying. The walls were dirty, chipped. The door was chipped and dirty too. The bathroom looked old and smelled like the lobby… sewer . The closet: forget about it. It’s the size of a human. Tiny !!! My suitcase did not fit. Period !!! The floors were old and dirty . This place was a big FAIL. Wouldn’t recommend. Unless you don’t care. This should be a $ 19.99 a night hotel.

It’s OK for the price they ask, fine service and rooms… no frills but for a business overnight stay all you need

Booked months in advance, did not think much else about it. the online process was pretty easy and straight forward. I paid in advance. arrived finally, walked in and checked in, was greeted nicely. hostess noticed i had a toddler and said we did not book a crib but was offering us one regardless, although i declined she was very cool about. very kid friendly, even has a kid corner with toys. hotel is in a prime location, just across the street from Grand Palace area. I could walk out the front door and be in the middle of Grand Palace in about 5 minutes. From the Midi Train station, it was maybe a 20min cab ride. from the international airport it was around 45 minutes so prepare to spend around 80 euro for a cab but it is worth it. i think this cab ride was more than my high speed train to paris for 4 of us, go figure. the hotel itself was quite nice, rooms were a great size, clean, the lobby was nice and the staff was more than friendly. the free breakfast was superb, they even had soy milk so it is vegan friendly. i hope to return to Brussels and i will totally stay here again.

The service was very good, room was clean and comfortable(I thought I had booked a queen, but ended up in a room with two twin beds) and no view at all; wifi was free, but did not work well. The breakfast was included with the room(which seemed decently priced, but it was only me). Very well located for getting to the Grande Place or the Cathedral. They held my bags in a secure room while I saw the city for the day. Over advertised, but still had a decent stay. I will say, they are one of the most environmentally friendly hotels I’ve ever been to. Kudos to that!

I thought I was great getting a fantastic 4 night deal in a 4 star hotel. Upon check in we were told, «There’s two of you!» «Yes there is.» «You never said that there would be two!» «Well I booked a twin room and I think the term twin should illuminate my intentions.» «But Japanese business men book twin rooms if they are doing business over several days, they like to swop beds.» «That’s really fascinating yet completely unapplicable to us for obvious reasons.» «You should of said two people, now I will have to charge you extra for breakfast!» «Again… Twin room to me implies two people. I have booked many twin rooms in my lifetime and never had to specify numbers.» «It’s that websites fault! This happens all the time!» «Well maybe it’s your problem for not chasing it up with them!» «So that will be € 80 extra.» «What?!» ”€ 20 for breakfast.” «Well I won’t eat the breakfast.» «But there is two people in the room.» «Yes and one won’t avail of your breakfast.» «You have to!» «No!» “Yes!” “This is ridiculous! So what if I was to come alone and score at the club tonight would you prevent us from going to my room? Are you my chastity belt?” «Would you like to talk to the manager?» «I think that would be appropriate at this point.» The manager, although nice would not waver. She said that she would knock it down to € 60. «Right so,» I said to my friend, «we are going to GORGE on their feckin poxy breakfast everyday, eat the feckers out of house and home.» The room… 4 stars my backside. Scuffed shoe marks on the wall. A beautiful view of a grey brick wall. I felt like I was in the reject version of IKEA. Wifi which they boasted about was a nightmare. Impossible, even the thoughts of it are filling me with rage. I had to turn to beer. Gym was nice as was the sauna. Excellent location. Breakfast was not worth € 20. The only channel that played British and American TV was a Danish channel, we called it the happy channel as every show was so very depressing. Never again simply due to the poor advertising, we felt duped.
