Little Delirium

Sarah the bar tender was so nice and helpful, suggesting beers for us and providing quick service. Highly recommended.

Versión «little», como su mismo nombre indica, del Delirium Café.
Un local muy recomendable, que solo tiene un handicap: No es el Delirium. Está muy bien ambientado igualmente, los precios son más bajos, aunque la carta de cerveza es menos extensa. Si se busca un lugar más tranquilo que el anteriormente mencionado, es buena opción. Es más acorde a la planta de arriba del Delirium.

I personally liked Little Delirium better than the other delirium! Basically same options for beer, Wifi works throughout the entire café, accepts credit cards and lots of tables! Very centrally located as well!

This bar is great. We had awesome customer service, the atmosphere is super nice. It’s across the street from 4 Greek restaurants, so you can just buy food there and bring it back to this restaurant. They have cheap beer on tap!

Thirty beers on tap, decent prices and outdoor seating. This bars in a really outdoor area, there are a few bars near it and everything is outside. This is a nice alternative to the actual Delirium — not nearly as crowded and still a decent selection.

This Delirium bar isn’t in the rest of Delirium village like the others. But its got the same vibe, great beer drinking music. Extremely knowledgeable bar staff all with great English.
Nice big tables to sit and chat around, but most are wooden so you may get a numb bum. Toilets are very clean and are downstairs.
If you have been to the Delirium Village it is a cross between the Floris Garden and the Delirium taphouse, Rolled into one delicious Belgian beer ball
Worth a visit.

Ayant passé le nouvel an à Bruxelles et né connaissant pas vraiment les commerces du centre-​ville, j’ai donc été happé comme un débutant dans les gros pièges à touristes de la ville.
Même si Fritland ou ce bar né m’ont pas gâchés ma soirée, ils l’ont rendue parfois un peu dure à vivre. Parlons déjà de la plus grosse absurdité que j’ai vu dans un bar: Pour fêter le nouvel an avec le sourire, le prix des consommations augmente de 25% ! MERCI ! Bön, dans dix minutes c’est le décompte pour enfin entrer dans l’année 2015, je né vais pas m’embêter à changer de bar, je vais donc commander 1 L de Delirium dans une pinte en forme de botte, pour marquer le coup. Comptez 11 euros pour la bière et … 20 EUROS de caution pour le verre ! Il est fait en cristal votre verre ou quoi? Avec la bonne demie-​heure de queue pour obtenir ma bière de fin d’année, ça commence à bien m’irriter… Aller, on se calme.
La bière et délicieuse, forcement, et elle me fait très vite oublier ces petits points négatifs qui se sont déroulés auparavant.
Bön, il est temps de partir de ce bar à touriste et d’aller voir le feu d’artifice. 3, 2, 1…
Vraiment je n’ai plus rien à dire sur ce bar. Allez y seulement s’il n’y a que lui d’ouvert.
Coup de coeur: La bière est très bien servie.
Coup dans le coeur: La musique… Sérieusement les gars, même NRJ fait mieux en terme de choix musical…

Un très graaaaaand choix de bières pour ce petit frère du Délirium Café ! Ce n’est pas si rare à Bruxelles mais pour un frenchy comme moi, ça fait toujours son impression.
C’est plutôt sympa, on boit la bière dans une ambiance décontractée qui fait plus «sports’bar» que chez le grand frère… et surtout, c’est un peu moins bondé (ce qui peut être un avantage pour certains et un mauvais point pour d’autre).
Pour conclure: c’est sans grande surprise mais ça fait bien le job !

Strong draft selection amidst a sea of bars with strange deals and stranger looks.
The Delirium mothership is nuts. If you’re in Belgium for good beer, you should go there. But Little Delirium is no slacker little brother, it’s a quality draft destination.
Bigger on the inside than it looks like the TARDIS, Little Delirium has a few TVs for sports (probably soccer /​football) and assorted seating. But you’re here for the beers, and the beers are good. Very solid draft list, with some items (lambics, quads) that we hadn’t seen on draft elsewhere.
It’s also an oasis from the weird bars nearby with strange Buy 3 Get 1 free draft deals that don’t make any sense as everything is already pretty cheap. If you’re on that block and want a great beer, best to come here. Plus great people-​watching if you can get a front seat!

Petit tour au Lite Déli pour retrouver des potes ! Niveau ambiance, on est bons, le Little Déli porte bien son nom, décoration équivalente au Délirium authentique: ici, on boit de la bière sur des tonneaux et on apprécie un bon moment convivial !
En revanche, je né mets pas plus qu’un 3 étoiles :
— peut être parce que je né suis qu’une expat’ habituée au Délirium impasse de la fidélité qui selon moi dégage une ambiance plus ouverte vraiment unique en son genre.
— peut être parce que j’aime moins les lieux avec des écrans et que je préfère un bon rock en fond sonore!
— peut être parce que j’ai trouvé la tranche d’âge de la clientèle plus jeune.
Conclusion: Little Déli pour les petits, Big Déli pour les grands mais le Déli ça marche toujours: D

Un Immense Merci à toute l’équipe grace à laquelle j’ai pu regarder la victoire de l’équipe de France de Basket face à l’Espagne.
On en oublierait meme qu’on est entrain d’boire la meilleure bière du monde !
Et le shot avec l’équipe à la fin du match (offert par la maison) Quelle soirée !
Le seul truc qu’est dommage c’est qu’il n’y ait rien à manger, parce que après 3 – 4 pintes j’avais un peu d’mal à suivre le match.
Mais bon, vous l’aurez compris, un superbe moment passé là bas.
Encore une fois MERCI !!!

I always find myself remembering a beautiful August afternoon just absorbing all that Brussels has to offer. I loved sitting here for an hour enjoying our beer flights (3 beers for 6 euros!) and people watching. It’s a great small bar with attentive bartenders… One day I’ll go back.
P. S. I am looking for Delirium Red everywhere! :-/

Ok so Delirium is a beer hot spot in Belgium with the largest selection of beer in the world. It can be rowdy and crowded though and not always pleasant. Little Delirium on the other hand is small and friendly. There is a selection of around 20 taps as well as many bottle beers to choose from. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler i was comfortable here. I tried several beers and all were great. There is a booklet there that describes the beers so it is easy to make the proper choice. The location is very close to Grand place and easy to find. The interior is well decorated and clean. Even the bath rooms were super clean. The bathrooms are gown a tricky set of stairs though so be careful. If your in the Grand Place and looking for the best selection really close by this is your best bet. Also it is on the greek street so after downing several beers it is easy to grab a Gyro to take back to your hotel.

We always seem to have dismissed/​ignored this place in the past.
It may not be the delirium bar of legend, but it still serves a lot of good
beer! Delirium Red is a very good beer and the music selection was
pretty tight too! (See photo below)

Almost as good as the mother ship location, but with fewer (but different) options on tap. Best thing is sitting outside and looking at the food options around you for dinner (it’s the Greek area).
Take a seat, watch life pass by, rest your feet. Life is good, and so is the beer…
