Au Coin Vert

I have not even been there yet, but as you can imagine, still speaking English in a country where people speak French and Dutch is difficult, and I am doing my best to learn both languages. A little while ago my dress zip broke, and I have been looking for a zip to replace it, as it is quite a unique dress. I called in, rather than going in, to ask if they had a beige-​pink zip for a dress, and she was quite helpful in telling me that they did not have any that specific, but they did have beige. Now, when I went to Veritas, they did not have any zips that were the right colour, but for some reason the staff insisted on selling me one of the zips even though it was the wrong colour!!! I asked them if they knew of another sewing or material shop, and they said they were the only known one around. Now that was a blatant lie. I don’t think I will be going back to Veritas, however I will definitely be going to Au Coin Vert to take a closer look at what they have, since they were very honest, and did not expect me to buy something that I did not need.

Les époux Vancauteren t’accueillent dans leur immense boutique pour t’offrir un large choix de stores, édredons, rideaux, tentures, papier-​peint et surtout de tissu d’ameublement.
Cette entreprise familiale existe depuis quatre générations en plein cœur du quartier des Marolles. Un très large choix est disponible, l’accueil est parfait. Il né faut surtout pas hésiter à les contacter si tu as un doute sur des mesures ou pour une information quelconque. On peut toujours compter sur eux et sur leur disponibilité en cas de besoin !
Impossible de passer à côté de leur boutique, elle porte bien son nom ! L’établissement est entièrement recouvert d’une peinture verte, il est situé sur un coin de rue, et l’enseigne est visible de jour comme de nuit.
