A must try in Bruges, Belgium. Unlimited ribs that keep coming until you can’t eat anymore. They also allowed us to try different rubs and sauces. A great pairing with the local beer from De Halve Maan Brewery!

The manager and staff are supper friendly. Make sure you make a reservation. They have 2 main sittings at 6pm and 8pm. A few couples walked in and were seated with the proviso that they finish before the next seating starts. The fajitas option looked pretty massive but we were here for the all you can eat ribs for € 18. The first racks were juicy baby backs(you can tell by the thicker width bones). I opted for the spicy bbq. It was more bbq than spicy but I loved the sweetness of the sauce. The meat was moist and juicy with just enough fat to provide full flavour and tenderness. Each plate comes with a heap of fries or wedges and a small salad covered with a mustard vinaigrette. The waiters are attentive and ask you if you’d like more ribs if they see your plate is near empty. Half racks are served straight to your empty plate while the bucket of discarded bones are replaced with another metal tin. This time I went for the«house sauce», beer and chocolate. It wasn’t as sweet as some have said but I got a noticeable beer aroma. The quality of the second rack were drier and leaner. The ribs bones were stick thin, so definitely a different cut from the first. It would be great if they did quarter racks so that less racks went to waste and giving you a chance to try their other flavours. Bruge is fairly expensive to eat out but this was one of the more reasonable options for really great tasting ribs. Come hungry!

Service was excellent and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here. The ribs are all you can eat and they do keep bringing them if you want them. However, the food was average.

PLEASECOMEHERE! This is the most fantastic meal we’ve had in Belgium thus far. I was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. For those that don’t know, Memphis is regarded as the dry rib capital of the world with numerous international rib championships to back that up. So I usually avoid getting ribs outside Memphis, because they are either slathered with a sauce that completely overpowers the meat or cooked with dry rub until its dry and tasteless. R&B does the most fantastic ribs! My wife says they are better than back home. The dry rub perfectly compliments the meat, and they come out hot and juicy. For the quality alone, I would expect to pay quite a bit for a portion. This place is $ 18 for all you can eat ribs… whaaaat? Crazy, yes — super yummy, ditto. My wife got the chicken fajitas, the presentation and quality of ingredients is indicative of a very well trained chef. Everything about the food says this is not a neighborhood college, night class grade chef. Whoever he is, he is top notch in all ways. The beer selection is also good, with a well rounded menu of options as well as several familiar names in case you just want the taste of a favorite beer. The atmosphere is by far the best in Belgium thus far. We’ve done Italian, true Belgian, fancy, casual, and everything in between while here — R&B has the perfect mix: attentive and friendly staff, great music at the right volume, casual and laid back, but still polished and intentional. Please do yourself a favor and come here :)

Best to book before hand because it’s always busy. For € 18 all you can eat ribs is a steal. They are so huge I have no idea how anyone can eat more than one rack. I had the chefs rub flavour and it was superb, a bit salty but really great. I have been told that the beer and chocolate sauce is excellent however I wasn’t brave enough. I had an amber Trappist beer here which are the ones brewed by monks. Delicious. So so delicious. The prime rib steak is literally a hat sized piece of meat. Like crazy big.

So so so good! They were packed when we rocked up for dinner around 7 pm, but the owner said we were welcome to eat outside immediately if we could stand the cold. They only do 2 seatings — one at 6 pm and one at 8 pm(I think) so it’s probably best to make a reservation. Since we were only in Bruges for a day trip, we braved the cold. It’s unlimited ribs, and for the first rack you choose a sauce for the whole rack. For the next racks, you get half racks so if you have a massive appetite you’ll likely get through every flavor. We both started with the smokey ribs, and I had an Omer beer at the owner’s suggestion. So tasty! I’m not much of a ribs eater but I ate the whole rack. My husband had the spicy sauce for his second rack, and he loved it. He and I were both too stuffed to try the beer and chocolate sauce ribs, so we’ll just have to come back for them.

If you love ribs and have a big appetite, this is the place for you. My party was happy with all the dry rub and slow cooked ribs flavor choices. They loved them all except for the beer & chocolate ribs. I don’t quite have the same appetite so I selected the Filet Steak. Fantastic meal overall, in a cozy setting, and decent service

So I was a but sceptic about ribs in Belgium but holy wow they were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ve had great BBQ and ribs but these were just as good. Really impressed with the quality and prompt service. I will go back!!!

Omg so good. Omg omg. You definitely must go. It’s all you care to eat for € 18 ribs and fries and a little bit of salad. Wow!!! What a deal. I can’t say anything else but definitely go!!! Oh yea, the spicy sauce is spicy too! Mouth watering.

Incredible, absolutely incredible. This place is off the Richter scale good! All you can eat ribs for only 18 euros… And damn the ribs were nothing short of THEBESTIVEEVERHAD! Do yourself a favour and get yourself here! The slow cooked ribs are otherworldly but the classic ribs are also delicious, why worry though when you can try BOTHTYPES!!!

Summa summarum: PERFECT! 5**** ! Great Job!

I grew up on The Hobbit across town, but we still really liked this place. The Belgians love ribbetje’s, and they are AYCE here. There’s a number of different preparations — we started with the American BBQ sauce style, which were good and falling off the bone. But for the second round we went with the«house» version, which are prepared different: dry rubbed, then grilled quick. So they were a good deal tougher than what you might expect from American-style baby backs, but we preferred them. Brugse Zot is the beer to get on draft.

Eat here on a Monday night at 8pm, so glad I booked a table because the restaurant was busy and it was easy to see why. Great food, good value and a friendly service! It was my girlfriends birthday so they provided us a free carafe of wine too which was a lovely touch. We had the slow cooked ribs and the meat was so tender and literally fell off the bone. Would definitely recommend this place to any visitors, but do book in advance if you can!

Excellent! Really loved this place. For context, understand that Bruges is expensive to eat. And if you eat in the square, the beer is even more expensive. Now, go a few blocks away and find this small restaurant with great ribs. Perhaps not the best ribs I have ever had, but darn near. And all you can eat, to boot. Note: Monday night has all you can eat ribs and a beer for 17 Euro. The ribs come with a few fries and a small salad, but you’re coming for the ribs. There was a dry rub, then slow ribs with a spicy barbecue, a smokey barbecue or a chocolate beer. The smokey barbecue were pretty sweet(literally), but still tasty. Perhaps a good set to get on your 2nd or 3rd order. You get a full rack, then they bring you half racks until you cry«Uncle». I did the smokey barbecue then the chocolate beer and I was done. Beer was reasonably priced. Staff was great. My first rack was delayed because of a large crowd in front of me, so they gave me an extra beer. Then they overpoured another beer and there I was(one of the high tables near the bar). A great evening overall.

All you can eat ribs with a massive assortment of Belgian beer. This must be what heaven is like. Ribs come in a few styles and it is all you can eat. Easily the best ribs spot I’ve been to so far. Good value for money too. Make sure you book as it is very busy. There is prob a chance of a walk in if you go very early.

Excellent ribs — all you can eat formula for € 18. You have 2 kind of ribs: either traditional or slow cooked(these are much more tender, juicy, and can be easily ripped off from the bones). The slow cooked versions(barbecue, spicy barbecue, beer and chocolate) are delicious but quite sweet — difficult to eat more than one rack. You can change the style you want each time you order a new rack — however, even big eaters won’t order a third serving, so be strategic when you choose! :)

First stop reading this… Call them and book a reservation… Done? Good. This place is heaven. I may be biased… I love ribs… I love beer… Service could have been faster, but we got the last free table that night. I had three racks of ribs before we called time and headed off. I think they are some of the best I have had. Had the local Bruges Zot which was a great beer to go with the ribs. Just get a booking and go. When you look at the cost of the places in the centre, you are getting a really nice meal for a reasonable price. Even the other non rib choices are a good price. Go, enjoy, repeat

This place. Holy crap. The nachos, get the nachos. And make a reservation. I keep a business card for this place in my desk at work. Once in awhile, I pull it out and show it to my buddy who I went to this restaurant with and we have a little moment thinking about the nachos. We also had ribs, but I’d recommend just getting the nachos, it is too much food with both. If you do choose the ribs, don’t get the dry rub; my wife had the dry rub and it is honestly bad, too dry. The saucy ribs are excellent, though. It’s the perfect fusion of the best beer in the world(Belgian, of course) with the best food in the world(American!).

Heaven. That’s what this restaurant should be called because it is just that: Heaven. Hailing from Texas, Ribs ‘n Beer really fit the bill for us having not had ribs since moving to the UK2.5 years ago. Reservations are completely necessary if you want to eat a peak times, which apparently appears to be all the time at Ribs ‘n Beer. My husband ordered the«all you can eat» ribs and was in heaven. I ordered the chicken fajitas and joined him in heaven. The hubby went three rounds on the ribs. The first round was a half rack and was slathered in the house sauce, chocolate and beer. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce. The second round was a quarter rack with the smokey BBQ which he liked the best. The third round was a quarter round with the spicy BBQ which my husband said was far too spicy. I opted for the chicken fajitas which were very tasty but due to this, I ate far too much. The portion size is enough for two people but I don’t feel it would be politically correct to share, perhaps it would be but it seems as though it would not be. The tortillas were served in their little tortilla dish as you would find in any tex mex joint in the US. The chicken, onions, and peppers were served in a bowl and were juicy and flavorful. One thing I could do without are all the miniature spoons(one spoon per«topping» e.g. cheese, sour cream, lettuce, salsa, etc). The spoons take up valuable plate space. Dear Ribs ‘n Beer, please open a restaurant in London. My husband and I will be recurring patrons, we promise!
