An excellent find very near my hotel. The restaurant has a nice, quiet atmosphere. The bar produced a good cocktail with some house-aged gin. The parsnip soup was excellent as was the forest mushroom ravioli. The service was fine as well.

New discovery for us. Excellent food, wine and gin&tonic. Service was not perfect, it took quite some time to get the first course. But then again, they made extra dessert when they noticed my husband’s disappointment after saying they were out of that dessert. What about that for customer satisfaction! Will definitely go back!

After learning how much I love gin, a friend of mine invited me to go to Place du Marché. The owner of the restaurant, who is also the chef, is trying his hand at making gin. So I went there and we talked a bit with the owner, and he explained the process that he is using to make the gin, which botanicals and fruit peels he is using and why he chose them. We also had a quick tasting session, which was great. After that, I asked for a gin and tonic(local craft tonic water named syndrome was a perfect match for the house gin) and it was time for dinner. A pork belly was served as a delicious starter. After that I got their black angus ribs with french fries. I came for the gin, but their food is seriously good! I finished with a dessert made with coffee ice cream with amaretto foam and chocolate crumbles. Hmmm, so so good!
