Didn’t realize how lucky I was to have this fish and chip place as my local until I went elsewhere and it was rubbish in comparison! Fish is full of flavour and the chips are perfect. I can’t go past a battered sausage either– yum yum. Ask for your chips well done.

Got fish and chips with friends from here and was great. The food took a little while to cook but that was because they had so many phone orders so i recommend ordering ahead. My friends had the fish and chips which they said was great and I had a burger that was pretty good too. We took our food to the park opposite and sat and watched the sunset which was lovely. So many native birds flying around enjoying the lake.

Have been getting fish and chips from here since I was a kid and despite tasting many other places, this fish and chips shop is the best I’ve eaten! The food is always amazing and has never once disappointed me so far in all these years. The food is cooked as you order it so never reaches that awful oily stage that so many other places do when the food has been sitting there for a while. You get a lot of food for what you pay and the guys are always friendly and nice. The service is quick and there is constantly a stream of people in and out. I recommend the pineapple fritters as an extra as they are delicious! The chips are always nice and juicy and the fish is always a good size. You haven’t lived till you’ve tried this place! It’s so nice to grab your food and then walk across the road to the lake that is right outside and enjoy your food watching the ducks play on the lake. Perfect for a relaxing dinner or when you feel in need of a little treat!

The best fish and chips in perth by far! This is on par with Jurien Bays fish and chip store who gets it’s catch fresh of the boat! Woodlands f&c is fresh delicious and most of all serves fantastic quality WAFRESHSEAFOOD! Hoorah! Got the pink snapper, fish burger on a damper bun, squid rings and chips to serve 4 perfect amount and everything was fresh. Look forward to returning in summer and taking it down to city beach or just eating it across the road at jackadder lake. Beware of hungry dogs at jackadder lake if your picnicking though!

It seems to be par for the course that fish n chip shops, no matter how delicious the food on offer is, have a somewhat of a dingy interior appearance. You probably know what I mean: faded walls, a greying tiled floor that’s seen better days, hard plastic chairs that, judging by their worn, battered and sometimes slightly yellowing appearance, must have been around for a good many years. I was surprised to find that Woodlands Fish and Chips does not fit into this stereotypical fish n chip shop image. I was taken aback when I walked in to a clean, crisp shop with a bright and cheery atmosphere. Freshly painted, brightly coloured ceramic fish adorned the clean crisp white walls. The shop was stunningly organised, the drinks fridge well stocked, and the chairs distinctly lacking the yellowing and battered appearance. The staff were also a breath of fresh air; friendly, efficient and well presented. The menu promises that this place is Woodlands best kept secret, and I think they might be right. Their food is delicious and of high quality, and all the fish is caught in Australian waters, and their fish contains no artificial flavours, colours, additives, steroids or antibiotics.
