Went here for breakfast with my girlfriend and her family and gotta say after hearing it’s very popular I was very disappointed! Ordered the eggs Benedict and though the Bacon and eggs tasted pretty good it was just drenched in sauce and I could barely eat it! It was pricey for the serving you receive, probably going to avoid coming here for breakfast, maybe just for the golf and lunch next time!

I’ve been a few times but today my chicken parmigiana got served with cold chips which I sent back, I can’t stand cold chips. By the time the chips came out my parmi had gone cold, so I ended up with hot chips and a cold parmi. Food needs to be served up fresh and hot very disappointed

This place is perfect for any day of the week. Very friendly staff and good for a chuckle. They are very good with the kids, they make them feel welcome. The ambience of the restaurant can be pleasantly peaceful at times but on other occasions I’ve been here it’s been loud and boisterous. The food was very tasty but the presentation was simple. But then again it’s all about the taste and the service. The Leapfrog is a restaurant attached to Botanic Golf which is great for a family outing and fun for all ages. Oh and it’s amazing how everyone gets real competitive in keeping their scores with the golf and they make sure you write them down correctly… Not. lol

What a perfect place for Sunday brunch. We walked in and secured a table for 7 with no issue. The waitress took our drink order straight away and served them just as quickly. The breakfast menu consists of the usual variety of Benedicts, big breakfasts, cereal and toast. It was one of those occasions where everyone ordered something different and were all happy with the dishes they received. The portion sizes are large and prices are reasonable. I had the salmon Benedict and was in love with the hollandaise sauce and large poached to perfection eggs. This place just ticks all the boxes, food, coffee, atmosphere, service and to top it all off you can walk off your massive feed in the serene botanical gardens surrounding the adjoining mini golf courses.

Leap frog café pumps out amazingly delicious gourmet pizzas, it’s just a shame the service is sometimes below par. The breakfast menu is pretty simple but enjoyable

Great service here, but I felt that considering mini golf is a place for young and old, there should be a few more«kid» food options on the menu. We went for coffee with the kids, the Devonshire tea and ice coffee was lovely. The only snack option other than cake and cookies though was hand cut chips which were $ 10 for a bowl and didn’t have enough to keep the kids happy. We also ordered the kids a milkshake, it was $ 5.50 but came out in an Ikea glass which took all of a minute for the kids to chug. Over all the food was lovely, but I took off a star for value and a star for variety. I would have to say it’s more suited to dinners and adults.

Always had a good experience here, usually for breakfast but I have had a woodfired pizza which was delicious. Plenty of tables so you don’t need to book usually even on a Sunday. Back it up with a game of mini golf to work off all the bacon ;)

Leapfrogs is perfect for us. Its casual, great for families, welcoming — and for us, close to home. The staff are very friendly. The dining areas are mainly alfresco, under a huge pergola, which overlooks the lush Wanneroo Botanical Gardens. Leapfrogs Café has been transformed over the last few years. It’s been extended and renovated as it grew in popularity. No longer is it just somewhere to stop for refreshment after a round of Putt Putt, but a destination in its own right. Leapfrogs also has fantastic pizzas. They have a selection a delicious wood-fired pizzas at Leapfrogs — but if you’re feeling creative you can design your own combo of ingredients for your topping on the house-made pizza bases. Hubby did this and loved it. I was opted for a Vego Salad($ 22). It was full of blue cheese, pistachio nuts, orange segments, fennel, with a bright pink raspberry vinaigrette — it was very tasty. Leapfrogs is also very popular with cyclists on the weekends; biking around Lake Joondalup and the lycra brigade too. If you’re after a casual meal close to home or even a drive up to the Joondalup area and play a bit of putt putt and have a spot of lunch — Leapfrogs is a great place to stop.

Leapfrogs Café used to be frequented by only those who had just enjoyed a round or two of mini golf. However, in recent years the owners have done a lot to improve the place and now it is a destination in its own right. The settings are gorgeous, overlooking the lush botanical gardens and mini golf course. There is a huge alfresco area, where you have some shade and protection from the sun, but still can enjoy a summers breeze and the fresh air. The food is good, the servings reasonable and the prices are a little on the high side. The coffee can be inconsistent, it must depend on who is working, but generally its pretty good. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a great place for a casual summer meal. Try their weekend breakfasts, it is a great way to start the day.

Leapfrogs is a picturesque place for a game of golf, or a meal — it is a combination of a mini golf course, a café and a botanical garden. In terms of it as a mini golf course, it is challenging enough for players young and old. There is a beautiful combination of vegetation grown together and as a botanical garden, it is worth looking around — and it also makes a great setting for a wedding. The food, on the other hand, is decent if overpriced. The cappuccino is a touch too sweet, while some of the food tastes too bland. The exception to his is their salmon salad, which, while expensive for its portion size [quite petite], has a great balance of flavour between the salad and the strong taste of smoked salmon. Leapfrogs Café is a lovely place to wander around, although for the budget conscious, eating may not be an option. You may also want to bring insect repellent, as their mosquito squadron is often out in full force.

After a few round of mini golf with friends or family, Leapfrogs café is there waiting for you to enjoy some scrumptious food and delightful coffee. However, you don’t need to wait to go there for the times you’re mini golfing, I often catch up with friends at this café, it’s always open for breakfast and lunch and from Thursday till Sunday dinner too. It’s hard not to make incredible wood-fired pizzas, but theirs are quite delicious. The coffee there really is fantastic and they have quite a range to pick from which I found delightfully surprising. On Friday nights and Sunday afternoons they have live music playing and I’d also recommend going Thursdays as they offer any large pizza and a pint for $ 24, bargain! The café itself is a nice venue, set next to the botanical gardens and has an inside and al fresco dining area to sit and enjoy your meal in. Definitely a top place to go.

Generally my go-to place for a breakfast date. The food is absolutely amazing. My favourite is the eggs Benedict, and they eggs are always cooked perfect. The only thing better than the food is the coffee. The coffee, oh, you cannot even believe. Perfectly brewed, served at the perfect temperature. One day me and my friend sat in the restaurant for hours upon hours sampling every type of coffee they had. Our recommendation: Caramel Latte. The service is not the greatest, sometimes it does take a little while for the food to come out but they do the job well. Price wise, it’s not going to break the bank and the setting in the botanical gardens is the perfect setting for any perfect breakfast.
